So glad to see you got it all back together and running. Reminds me of my off-roading days when I had to replace my gearbox 200 miles from home!! Have to have a catch up and a beer at some point :)
Sam, I'm so thrilled that you got it to run at last. Your face on the final test drive was a picture. So a leak to monitor, you'll get it sorted. Time to enjoy and get to Quirky. Best R&T
Have a good one Sam once stuck our air cooled t25 back together the night before we went to Cornwall. I managed to do a 20 mile shake down run before we set off lol. For the record all went well. Have fun mate.
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Yep it’s me Sam. Played with VW’s for years and love them. T25 looking sorry for itself. Will be dragging it in the garage in Winter to tackle all the bodywork. Have a great trip mate!
Cheers Chris 👍 We want to take the van to the Artic circle and Morocco so I need to be able to fix anything that could potentially go wrong with it and that's why .I tackle every job myself, however I never expected to be doing all these jobs on my own door step😂😂😂 buy the way I love you channel intro
Hi Sam, the sound at 3.21 sounds just like injector seals not seated correctly, the little copper rings. if they aren't then the diesel leak may be coming up from below as much as from the connections above. Might be barking completely up the wrong tree but wifeys Fiat 500 diesel had similar problem. great build series and enjoyable to watch. all the best.
Great scenery there, definitely next after I do the NC500 for me mate. Fingers crossed you sort the leak, had horrendous issues with the return pipes on my sons Vito
Hi Sam just found this I've been through the head gasket issue can i suggest if your slightly under powered that you get your torsion values checked as should be as close to zero as poss if you need me to explain in detail i can just let me know and its an easy thing to do and can make a lot of difference to the power of the van
We were getting 400 miles to a tank I've not done the maths but I was happy with that as we run just below 3.5 ton since doing the head we are getting around the same but I really need to work it out
That was one option I agree but my intention it to be able to fix any that hose wrong with our crafter myself I learned a lot this past year 😁👍 What van have got
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife no mate I changed the injectors and changed the starter motor and changed a few sensors I had it started once the injectors were done but I hadn’t coded them in at the time the van died after a few minutes and still sounded the same as it did when it went down then I dropped the oil because every time I tried to turn the van over it would start off turning over but not starting then start clicking so when I dropped the oil I found metal in the oil but none in the oil filter and I think I have a few air locks in the lines because I bleed them but when it wouldn’t start checked them again and it wasn’t pushing the fuel throw on the first 2 injectors so I’m stuck and a bit sick of it now lol
Hi mate I've been watching your videos I have a problem WI have a problem with my craft I have noticed that the water in my pressure tank goes down when I release the top the practice the top the pressure comes backup and the water fills back in what do you think
I’m having a problem with my crafter 2013. Saying low pressure fuel rail, any ideas! I’m putting in a new fuel sensor tomorrow. But it could be some else if it’s not that! Any ideas mate would be appreciated
Hi sorry for the delay in responding laid up at the minute with a chest infection I think you're right by changing the pressure sensor first If it's not that it's anyone's guess let me know how you come on

That would also cause lack of compression and starting problems....
