I gotta admit, Gaunsson laying down in front of the net was perfect. Especially with the frozen turf / spaghetti… lol
yes, when Stanford told about he's strategy, I immediately understood, that he's about to loose. I think laying down was the only effective solution, question only - how far from the goal-line should a keeper lay down to deflect as many balls as possible
@@Ibasirov I would have gone out maybe 5 meters that way you cover more of the goal and the balls hitting you have a bigger chance of rolling off to the side if they keep going.

@@Ibasirov I think Stanford had the right distance. Maybe if he tried laying down on an angle to direct some of the balls around (instead of trying to block them and have the balls bounce over)

Great game guys! Felt the excitement and tension with each challenge. This unique blend of Olympics, ski jump, and soccer is absolutely thrilling to watch!
It’s crazy for me watching this because I used to jump these ski jumps all the time. We’d spend months there in the summer training and I’ll tell you that stringy plastic is HOT without the water sprayed on it to make it wet.
Brings back lots of vivid memories.
