I had the heel's material rip on one of mine when putting them on the other day to walk the dogs because I was in a rush, and like a jackass, I didn't unlace them enough. Durability is fine, just don't be an ass like me - unlace them when putting them on! 😜
Went to a Reebok outlet looking for Club memt 4e shoes and my girlfriend found the Nano x but didn't see high top version. walked all day in the nano x and it just felt right. Shoes look good too.

so, I do not have training shoes for the gym or anything workout related except a couple of cheap Nike. I’m a looking to invest into a single versatile pair of shoes that has durability. I’m currently torn between the Nano X and the Nano X Unknown. If it was going to be your ONLY pair of workout shoes (for a while), which would you get? As mentioned, versatility and endurance are top two factors. Thanks in advance!
Great question - how much do you plan to lift in them when you’re talking versatility? Personally, I would lean towards the X because a high top model is not going to be the best from an endurance POV. However, if you don’t plan to lift a lot in them, then you could also look at the Nanoflex TR. It’s a more cost efficient model and feeds better into versatility - I could also suggest some other models if you’re into it!

Aesthetically I like the Nano X and find that the tongue and the back support are pretty unique, the don’t seem to be as low as other shoes, which I kinda like. Also, the Nano X seem to be tougher. The Nanoflex TR sound like a great option as well. I am open and interested in other suggestions. It should last you a while and can support a variety of training. It's not a good bet for running, but if you keep runs shorter, then it can work. Have you noticed the insole that comes in the shoe is on the small side? On my pair, the insole doesn't seem to fill in the entire bottom of the shoe and when comparing the insole with that of my nano 6's (same size 9), the insole is definitely a tad smaller. Swapping the insole from my nano 6 to the nano x unknown actually fits it perfectly and covers the entire bottom of the shoe...curious to see if you have observed this as well?
I just walked into the other room and checked mine again and the insole fits fairly well and there doesn't seem to be any gap. That's really freaking weird and annoying, I'm sorry your pair had that issue. I was going to say reach out and report it, but it seems like you found a fix? The price is not justified, because there made in Asian countries for a total max production cost of 10 us dollars, so the difference is enormous, but it's a cool model

@Joe Buczkowski tough to say if there’s a definitive winner on the durability front, I think they’ll both be fine for durability and last you a while. My JJs have held up well over the last month, so they should be solid for your asks, too, if you take good care of them! If you grab a pair, lmk how you like them!

Agreed, but in this case with the 9/10, the lasts are very similar and the upper construction creates the different feeling in re: length/width. The 9s stretchier flexweave gives it a larger feeling, but in regard to the overall outsole/midsole build they’re similar. But you are right in how this difference presents itself in regard to these models & their fit! Appreciate you dropping this knowledge/feedback 💪
