It is indeed something different, definitely nice addition to my collection. Highly functional design must say. Just screams to be used. Have a great day my friend!🌲🔪🌲
That's one I gave up on years ago. They rarely restock, and unless ya have the funds on hand, they disappear once again. It's a beautiful knife. Congrats on the gift .
@8626John I could get one if I really wanted to. I just kinda moved on from it., to be honest that Brisa Kephart has become my favorite knife in years. I really enjoy building them from blanks , I think their Trooper might be on my next project list ...Saves me money and I can make the handle how I like it 😁
Thanx! I did not no they were so hard to get I didnt even know about the knife until I got it. Bloody awesome blade. I just seem to grab this with me all the time at the moment. Have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
@@airiksknifereviews9548 interesting that the your loving the Brisa Kephart also. Its at the moment mostly in drawer, but at end summer/autumn it will get sooo much use!
Oh yeah, this one feels very special! But also not knife to put in a vitrine, but a use knife. Really liking this! Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
I did not know they are so hard to get. Didnt even know about the knife until now. Great knife, really impressed. See this becoming on of my top Edc's. Have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
These blades were designed from Mors Kochanski’s stated ideal specs for an outdoors/Bushcraft knife. L. T. makes them for Ben’s Backwoods and in the USA at least they’re only available through him. I’ve wanted one of these for some time, but not many are made and they’re hard to get.
@@OldForestBushcraftI finally managed to pick one of these up a couple of weeks ago. Similar to yours, but mine has orange G10 scales. Looking forward to taking it out in the woods along with some of my R. E. Evans bushcrafting knives to see how it does. Are you still using yours?
Puukko on steroids. Looks really good. It's raining there? Winter has returned here. Never know what you are going to get this time of year. Awesome review Llari.
Puukko in steroids indeed. 😀. It has been raining alot recently, very little sun. And neverending fog. But apparently today is going to get sunny and close to +10. Wow! The snow is going to melt pretty fast. Have a great day Tim!🌲🔪🌲

You’ re so right with this being an hybrdid! Just combines many elements from Nothern American And Nordic knkfe traditions. I always felt that f.e. Puukkos are mighy strong. I’ve batoned with them always, and never had any problems. Look for example my review of the old Marttiini. Used that knife over 20 yers, and no problems. That only full tang knives are strong is a myth. Thanx for watching, habe an great day!🌲🔪🌲
A full, Full tang knife, with a chiol . It has some features of a Puukko, it in my mind it is not Puukko. Might be nice knife but it is not my cup of tea.
No, would not say its Puukko. But as for American full tang knives goes, the inspiration is pretty obvious. So its not that far fetched. Thx for watching, have a great day!
What a wonderful and different shaped knife. Thanks 🎸🔪

@airiksknifereviews9548 I've done the same myself. I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and I prefer thicker handles.

Lovely knife. As rare as rocking horse shit though. I'm tempted to get a custom version made cos they're so hard to get hold of.

Beauty
It really is. Im huge LTWright fan!
Thanx for stopping by man, have a great day!
Beautiful. I have similar thoughts about my maasepän puukko from Danijel Haramina.
