Simple Autumn Watercolour Wildflowers
Flowers and Foliage episode 30: Simple Autumn Watercolour Wildflowers
A lovely return to seasonal simple flowers. You loved my Summertime edit so I was curious to see what wildflowers are known for flowering in Autumn. Enjoy echinacea, butterfly milkweed, and golden tickseed to name but a few.
If you've loved learning with me and want to enjoy a more interactive and tailored watercolour experience, join my Patreon (bit.ly/2EWJIGL) to become part of my watercolour community. It‘s so beautiful. I love it.
Thank you! Cheers!
beautiful, the false purple thistle reminds me of the Sea Holly
Ooh I need to look that up
Oh por favor.. ¡qué cosa tan preciosa!!
Thank you!
So lovely! It's look easy, and I shall try it. Thank you!
Please do!
I love finding all the goodies that I miss. My Home page of YT now and then pops up one I have seen. Nature Goddess!
Wow, thank you!
Love you're work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Stunning watercolours as always. Can’t wait to start again you have given me inspiration. Thank you 🌹
Wonderful!
The flowers are beautiful and you are a great teacher! Thank you so very much.
Thanks so much Linda
You’re a great teacher!!
Thank you! 😃
Loved your work & subscribed from the first video I came across.
Ethereal ❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨🌈🌈🌈 god bless you
Ah thank you so much!
So many tips to be gotten from you. It took me three videos before I put your book and this channel together, by the way. I have been painting with much more wet into wet technique, albeit not very well. Your way will be much better for my flowers. I can’t say enough about this channel. You are a superb, logical, and calming instructor. Thank you from Texas!
That is awesome! Thank you so much!
I’m in S Arizona and I find that my paint dries in seconds! It’s so hard to get the mix of colors to bleed into each other!! Do you have that issue, Angie?
I love this so much. Beautiful little flowers to have a little quick paint in my journal. Thank you
You are so welcome!
I love the “false thistle”, despite my loyalty to the good old Scottish Thistle.
haha! Yes, I hadn't heard of it before I did a little research!
Beautiful! Thank you so much!!💕
Thanks Donna!
These are lovely and I look forward to giving them a try. TFS
Thanks Brenda!
Beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Love your tutorials !
Thanks Lori!
Both of your books are great!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for these! I particularly love the leaves on the false thistle, and the asters are delightfully delicate. In the southeastern US, we have beautiful purple cosmos in the fall that I've been trying to paint a side view of - they open up like very flat fans, and I've not yet mastered dealing with both the petals and the center in a realistic way. But I'm going to take some tips from how you painted the asters, and see if that helps!.
Ah thank you Kim, that's interesting, I'll try and find a picture of the purple cosmos and see if I can do a picture at some point.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
Thanks Karen!
Thoroughly enjoying this lesson, but I will be ignoring any hallowe’en paintings
Fair enough
Lllllllllllll
Thanks!
I'm not a fan of your background music I don't think you need it. I love your painting though.
That’s fair enough, thanks for your comment x
