I'm going to rent an apartment near you just to take lessons! (I live in Spain) I love your way of painting, the way you describe your tutorials. And if you live in the countryside, a great deal better!
After watching this I realized that I don't let the watercolor do the work when I try and do leaves. I end up working it too much. I've saved this video to come back with my paints and follow along. Thank you so much for your videos. I agree with another comment that you balance loose and realistic styles. I want my art to look realistic but I don't have the patience for strict realistic paintings and I'm not a fan of real loose, abstract style.
I was so excited to see these - I've been attempting both to paint autumn leaves and to embroider them (on face masks), and your tutorial is exactly what I needed. I love the beautifully subtle colors and the highlights.
Late October 2021 and I’ve just found your site as well! Now I finally feel like I can do realistic leaves of any sort. I do wonder about the brown ‘nut’ or ‘fruit’ you painted, I can’t quite make out what you are calling it…concord, perhaps? And the green spikey thing as well…Your instructions resonate with me, your style as well. I’ve already saved many of your videos and I treasure them.
How on earth did I miss this gem? Lovely! Are your birds outside your window, or part of your song? Wonderful to paint with them. :) Fanna Turano Denver, CO
Just revisited this and have finally achieved a perfect conker and autumn leaves ...thanks so much😁🙏
So glad to hear that!
I could watch this 50 times, so relaxing
wonderful!
I have just found you. I'm so happy about this. You have the perfect balance of loose and realistic to suit my idea of how I want to paint.
Ah Kim, thank you! I'm so pleased you found me and I really look forward to see how you get on with my other tutorials xx
Just beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!

They’re outside the window!
Just started and really enjoying your tutorials but could you please recommend me a good make of brushes. Thank you
Hi, I love ProArte brushes which are what I use in my videos. There is a link to buy them in every episode notes.
What brand brushes do you use?
Hi Karen, these brushes are pro arte masterstroke
Love these, you make them look so easy , will have ago tomorrow, are you going to be doing Christmas soon?
Thanks Eileen, Yes there will be some Christmas content soon, we've just got so much lovely Autumn to do first!
Hello,
How did you mix the burgundy color, or is that a tube color?
The colours will be in the episode notes!
@@deWintonPaperCo I would also like to know how to mix a burgundy colour? Your painting is gorgeous btw.
