1) Eid Prayer can start 15 minutes after Sunrise 2) 2 Rakkats 3) 1st Rakkat 7 Takbeers before recting Surah Fatiha & another Surah of your choice 4) 2nd Rakkat 5 Takbeers then Surah Fatiha then Surah of your choice
This was the first time I fasted in celebration of Ramadan...I was home alone celebrating and enjoying listening via the live stream on youtube.. It was amazing!!!!!! The EID prayer and other areas of prayer it difficult for me.. Some words I can say or repeat but there are many that I just having a hard time pronouncing . I testified in private and I am so happy to now be a Muslim but I really have a lot to learn.
Exactly like fajer, except that when you start the prayer you say: 6 MORE times Allahuakbar in first rakah 5 MORE times allahuakbar, in the second rakah Note: it is 7 times total if you count the usual opening takbirah el ihram in first rakah. It is 6 times total if you count the usual allahuakabar coming out of sujud. In each time you say Allah akbar , you raise and lower your hands back. Time allowed for prayer is 15 min after sunrise, till before duhur prayer.
