- Greetings fellow Portal Masters and welcome to this special Top 167 video!
Back in August, I asked you guys to pick 25 of your favourite Skylanders for a secret task that was revealed later that I would be ranking EVERY SINGLE SKYLANDER EVER. Now obviously, I couldn't just do it myself because of me being very biased so, after getting you guys to choose who the best are, I finally got the official tally and here we go. It's been a long time coming but lets see what Skylanders YOU guys voted for!
Top 5s are back! I'll be doing videos on Skylanders like always. Let me know ideas for Top 5s in the comments below and if I use yours, I'll give you a shoutout in the video.

One interesting thing I noticed with this list was that the skylanders that were harder to find or were from the least popular games generally ranked lower. Makes sense as not as many people played them.

This list is another reason why I want a skylanders trilogy remake so that all 167 skylanders can be playable because everyone is someones favorite
Seeing my boi Camo not only beeing Top 15 but amongst top SSA AND Dragon Skylanders pleases me a lot💖💖 theres a lot of good/fair placements, only Skylander I am really sad about is Sonic Boom but oh well

Ima assume my favourite, Drobot, should get a solid enough place but I’m really hoping my second favourite StarStrike gets in the better half because she’s such a fun skylander but she’s rarely seen

She got 98. Pretty much was I expected, in the 3rd lowest quarter really.
I agree with that she would have been fun earlier on, also yea the spin to get the star bigger is a lot of fun - but admittedly the damage output isn’t really ideal. The falling star path is personally less fun but feels stronger

I mean, we got brawl metaknight here so it was completed expected but glad to see it
Overall, definitely agree with a lot of the top 20 - and while not a personal favourite I love that trigger happy took number 1 !

I literally just a dream where I went to Goodwill (inside a mall strangely enough) and found a whole batch of Skylanders/variants... including Granite Crusher ._.

I'm really happy and glad that some Skylanders have gone so high (like Pop Fizz, Dino Rang, Pop Thorn, Wildfire, Chop Chop and others), but some positions are truly outrageous. Ambush too low. Chopscotch, Buckshot and Trillipede under Jet Vac, Wreacking Ball and Stump Smash is heart-stopping. Crash is also too high, but he is because he is a well-known character, Crash is the ugly boy who picks-up because he is famous and has money, the same goes for Dr. Neo Cortex. Boomer inexplicably high. Thumpack and Bouncer TOP 30 is crazy.
However, a beautiful ranking and a beautiful video, honored to have participated in the voting.

Personally, I like them all. Did I tell any of you that? I can't play Skylanders anymore, but at least I can keep them entertained with the games I'm able to play, as well as music and videos. That way, I feel like the Skylanders are still on my side. And I got them all, so that'd be a great audience!
I’m happy with my boy, Gill Grunt’s placement. But I’m kind of surprised by Snap Shots placement, but only because I’m not a huge fan of him. I gave him a lot of crap in my ‘second chance’ series. Maybe I should switch paths and give him another chance
1:30:35 Omg I did NOT expect lob star to place 16th. I thought he wasn’t liked as much, especially considering the fact he placed above Krypt king. Still though, it feels so good to see my fav Skylander that close to the top
I hate seeing culture so low
Knight Light, Chop Chop, and especially Drobot are definitely some of my favorites. I remember doing solo runs of Trap Team with Knight Light and just slashing through enemies and boss fights like paper.
I love the Giants, but bouncer is too high

A Locke idea: forgotten Locke 2 on giants but with shroomboom and fright rider because they didn’t get reposes in swap force, all skylanders that died in the first Locke would be back in this Locke

This is clearly an amazing video but I have one tiny nitpick, when we see the portal screen and we get the element I liked guessing who that placement was and it felt engaging to do so, especially when I got it right, and then for the superchargers skylanders that feeling wasn’t there cuz as soon as we saw the portal screen their vehicle was right there, using the skylanders vehicles is a great way to show them off earlier as the set but I would recommend using instant hot streak for all of them just to keep the guessing there

Seeing my boys Tree Rex and Wildfire in the top 10 made my day :)
One of the reasons I like hex so much is because I played co op and her bone Wall move works well to protect your more stationary friends.
Not to hate or anything, but any skyland looks usable on easy or normal

Welp its only fair for me to say who my votes were for
I decided to have 5 from ssa and 4 from the others.
First of ssa where i voted for cynder drobot flameslinger stealth elf and trigger happy.
For giants i went for crusher swarm flashwing and pop fizz, for swqp force idk how but theres only 3 when i did put 4. (Put the skylanders i picked in a word document) the 3 that are up there are magna charge, rattle shake and grim creeper.
Trap team i went for jawbreaker, lob star, blades and chopper. For superchargers i went for lava lance eruptor, stealth elf ( would changed her for stromblade) splat and smash hit. Finally for imaginators i put ember aurora, tae kwon crow and mysticat

I don't know if every Skylanders knows that Dive-Clops was Eye Brawl's brother. I do know that the skylander themselves are Dive-Clop's brother and the body are two seperate entities. (from game/book description)
Most Sensais are at the bottom of the list. Tbh their not my favorite either I prefer trap team and swap force skylanders. It's just what I grew up on.
Im gonna be completely transperant i did not expect a sensei below the top 20 since (in my opinion) they are the most well rounded characters in the franchise
imo the cores in swap force just completely outshine the swappers. Scratch, roller brawl, punk shock, and many more are some of the best skylanders we ever got. Too bad a lot of them suck in later games (all except scratch pretty much who is just busted as hell, arguablly the strongest core of all time)

Hello crash I've found it interesting the top 50 consist of 5 imaginators, 5 superchargers, 6 giant's 8 swap force, 11 trap team, and for me most surprisingly 15 ssa and being number one big surprise
I like Buckshot, even though I don't have him or any of the Senseis in my collection.
Seeing Chop Chop at number 3 made me so happy, I expected him to do well but it’s just so cool that my favourite Skylander is so popular. Not only that, but Drobot, my second favourite, was right behind him.
I have no negatives about Roller Brawl. She's my favorite core from Swap Force.
Highvolt being number 90 is a w for me because he is one of the best skylanders

This list being so heavily skewed towards the first 2 games is just so not it. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of bangers in those games, but the later games being so much more streamlined with their designs and movesets, it baffles me how much people are nostalgia trapped to the first 2 games. Especially the giants. How did none of them land lower on the list than 100??? Makes no sense.
Well you see, its a list of people's favorites. So people vote for the skylanders theyve played as. Because theyve played as them. Its a weird conceot i know

Years ago, before I took Skylanders a little more seriously, I was playing it with a childhood friend of mine and when I took out Wrecking Ball, he said "this guy looks similar to Cheeks" a nickname of a guy in my high school, so I changed his name to that.
I completely forgot I had done that and never changed it even during HHH or the recording of the clips.
It's also a great memory of how far I've come with Skylanders in general.
