The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 123-95. CJ McCollum led the Pelicans with 22 PTS, 5 REB and 8 AST, while Brandon Ingram added 19 PTS, 5 REB and 8 AST in the victory. LeBron James tallied 32 PTS and 6 REB for the Lakers in the losing effort. The Pelicans improve to 25-36 on the season, while the Lakers fall to 27-33.

2:03 says it all. Your best player is consistently late on defensive rotations, doesn't fight through screens, and saves all his energy for the offensive end where he's crying for the ball. He's 37, so I get why he doesn't have the juice to lock down younger, quicker guys, but Tim Duncan was able to play sound defense at the end of his career because he sacrificed his offensive numbers for the good of the team, and focused on his help defense. This team would have a better record if two of their starters, Westbrook and James weren't so hellbent on sagging off in the lane defensively to chase rebounds for empty triple doubles.

Difference between lebron and Duncan he sacrificed his offense at his later stage of his career to actually play defense, something that lebron won't do because he is trying to stat pad his way to beating Kareems point record, if he thought that beating that warriors in 2016 made him the goat imagine what the media and his goons at every network will say when lebron beats Kareems point record? what will lebron say then. I’m not gonna stop saying this, Curry is the most overrated player on nba history. To start off, he’s been a defensive liability his entire career. When I look at players like bron, kobe, mj who’s defense declined with age, I look at their peak and see it was amazing

There's a continuous pattern of blown defensive assignments followed by defeated body language. In the midst of embarrassing loses, Lebron's current stats and highlights are mostly over glorified, social media fluff. It's like bragging about how much water you are scooping out of a sinking ship yet never addressing the actual "leak" itself.
