Used your tip to access recovery menu on damaged S5 with non working touchscreen and broken power button! Got menu up, used blade to short power and successfully wiped all data. It can now go to recycling happily - and not landfil! Many thanks👍🌞
I had problem with volume buttons not the power button. I removed the glue, put a piece of paper and pressed when i needed to use the volume buttons. Thank you so much for the idea!
