Yes he is an unfortunate not quite right out of the egg birdie! In the UK we have black birds which are different to the US version. Ours are much smaller. Anyway I spotted one earlier in the year looking much like your crow. This one was unable to fly but seemed happy enough thrashing about in the bushes in our garden (yard)! 😉
