Hi Rhonda Maner! I purchase my wooden beads at Hobby Lobby and I have also found them at JoAnn's fabric store. They sell the 3/4 inch beads with the1/8 inch hole. You can also use a wooden bead that measures 3/4 inch and has a 5/32 inch hole. Here is a link where you can purchase them online.

I stumbled upon these flower fairy dolls today and I fell in love!!!! These are so cute and fun, I can't wait to make some. May I leave a suggestion? You could make wings by making a wing shape out of the wire and wrapping it with sparkly sheer tulle that matches the color scheme of the fairy. I think that might work. Also, could you make shoes by wrapping colored thread up the legs? Thanks so much for these amazingly adorable and inspiring tutorials!!!!
SodaPopJX Thank you for your kind words and suggestions! It is so nice to hear such positive feedback. I am finishing up a tutorial for how to make fairy wings out of flower petals that I will be posting soon. Watch for it! I think using sparkly tulle for the wings would be so cute. Great idea! At the end of the tutorial above I actually put little black shoes on the fairy. They turned out so darling! I also have a ballerina fairy I am working on with ballet pointe shoes...coming soon! Thanks again and happy crafting!
