My granddaughter will love this smaller fairy to go along with the other two fairies I made her this week! Thank you for another great video with easy to follow instructions! :-)
I love miniature things so I'm going to begin with your smallest fairy doll. I've made a few fairy houses and now I will have some real cute fairies. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and inspiration!
Ever wondered why fairy houses have stairs leading up to their homes? Now you know. Fairies are not born with wings, they have to earn them! For now this beauty is grounded, not for long I bet! TFS : )
Congratulations for such a bright idea and.....sharing it with all of us. This is not expensive at all to make and the results were just beautifully perfect. Thank you!
Hi! I really love the smaller fairy doll! She's adorable, and as I have always heard, "Good things come in small packages"! This tutorial shows a good way to use up the smaller flower petals, and I just love the glitter on your darling little fairy! Thanks so much for the tutorial! Hugs! Janet in Canada : )
mastersadvocate Hi Janet! Your kind words and sweet comments always make my day! So happy to hear that you enjoyed this tutorial! You are right, "Good things come in small packages"! I agree completely! These little dolls were a lot of fun to make and a fun addition to the "fairy family"! Thank you so much for your support! xo
@@UntidyArtist Just an update: I've made three miniature fairy dolls, and used wool roving to make the hair. One fairy is a Spring Fairy, one is a Halloween Fairy, and the third is a Winter Fairy with white sparkly wings. They measure two inches tall, and the Winter Fairy's wings are made from white sparkly leaves from the craft store. I gave her white hair made from white yarn which I brushed and brushed until it became fine and fluffy. I wish I could show her to you! I made my Winter Fairy today, January 27th, 2023. Making fairy dolls is fun! Thanks for your inspiration! ~Janet in Canada
beautiful the wires i sent for are 22 like you said but thier not as thick or long as yours.i tried to make a fairy but they end up size of your miniture.the only ones i could get from amazon to uk are papercovered.so thin so bendy trying to wrapp the silks around.it makes you so disapointed. but yours are lovely there must be a diference in what amazon supplys to u.s.a to u.k????
Hi I love love ur dolls videos, hav you ever thought of making doll keychains. So that one could hang it on their handbag or car keys. If so could u make a tutorial on how to add a keychain to the doll
***** Hi there, I read somewhere else that you can use strips of old t-shirts and glue it around the wire, therefore creating a covered wire. And the head you may paint it to create a dark skin doll.....hope this helps.
Ok I think you misunderstood my question. I know this is a smaller version of your original flower fairy. I realize you use floral wire, not pipe cleaner. I took your original flower fairy design, and used a 12" pipe cleaner, instead of the floral wire. The mini floral fairy I made was about the same finished size as your mini, and I had posted something about it on one of your fairy vids about 3-4 weeks ago. I guess I should have more correctly asked if my post about my mini gave you the idea to make one. I originally "took" your idea and made it smaller (I needed a poseable fairy doll that could fit in a 70mm Xmas ball). If you would like to see a pic, let me know.
Did you take this idea from me? I know I took your original idea and made it smaller, the only difference in mine is I used a 12" pipe cleaner and doubled up her legs (no need for cutting the wire that way), but otherwise, my mini fairy is exactly the same.
Kaleigh Mcgeehan Hello! This mini fairy is a smaller version of my original fairy. So, no. I did not take this idea from you. I use floral wire to make my fairies. I have never used pipe cleaner to make my fairy dolls but I have heard from many of my subscribers that they work well. It is always helpful when you can find a substitution for a supply you don't have. Thank you for watching! Happy crafting!
I don't know why I am just seeing this. I could only find 1/2" wood bead and smaller here in Japan. I am making a fairy house and this size is perfect. Will the small wings in the wing template work for this size? Would an updo be the same as the big size dolls just using half the hair? Thanks!!!❤
Hi I'm writing from Santiago aided by google translator you I can write and just watching I could do some fairies I love that you do, but I have problems with the proportions (arms and legs) or I are long arms and short the legs or vice versa could help me on this issue .There is a rule to be followed for example, if the arms are 3 cm which would be the ideal ratio in the long leg I hope you can help me thanks greetings
