It was a very popular movie in our culture in the 90’s (Cult Classic for blacks) about the life of a beautiful stripper girl (actress Lisa Raye). It was supposed to be a cautionary tale; but like most “cautionary tales” (think Scarface, Goodfellas, etc.), it does the exact opposite to vulnerable teens & young adults. My story has some areas of overlap with hers, sans the same sex relationships, theft, addictions & stripping. But it’s a very relatable one for a few other reasons. I thank God he’s pulled this beautiful young lady out of her seasons of darkness into His bosom, His love, & His peace. I’m so happy for her deliverance!🎉❤ All glory to God! 👏🏽🙏🏽

Yeap, I have a family member who treats AA like her religion. She’s 20 years (or more) sober but chain smokes, addicted to soda and curse like a sailor, very mean spirited. No where near a Christian I pray all those in AA will trust in God and follow him more than they trust amd follow AA
Chrisgreen2299 please do your research. AA was founded by " the Oxford group. Christ centered based on biblical principles. Unfortunately it was waterd down to attract more people. God can work through anything and I've seen many, many come to Christ through AA.

This hit home because iam struggling with a drug and alcohol addiction and sex addiction as well due to trauma also dealing with depression for 6 yrs and being chronically ill from mold exposure for 5 yrs and almost dying from sepsis I really need God to deliver me I want to give up I’m losing the battle to fight 😢 I can’t go to church because ppl are so judgmental I’ve been so suicidal that ppl in the church even walked right past me even the pastor 😢

I feel like a lot of us before Christ have grown up in horrrible environments which leads to us wanting to escape reality sort of say getting into horrible habits and if not dealt with quickly can lead to a road of destruction. . This is why it’s so important to start the foundation of a household on Jesus Christ. Doesn’t mean you have to take your child to church because unfortunately there’s another issue a lot of churches are not spirt filled or lead and if you take them there and it’s corrupt then it’s just going to make things even more worse if they’re not spiritually mature . If you can’t love your child properly Jesus can give them all Bibles and let them read it and tell them to pray and ask Jesus to come into their lives give your children to Jesus he will take care of them and provide

Dasia keep up the work I to am from Philadelphia still live in Philly and I go by Kensington Ave every day to and from work and those ppl could still use some Prayers. It's so much worse today then yesterday and it's sad, I too was saved by Jesus from addiction 5 years ago still strong because of Jesus, Amen 🙏 ❤️
I was just in Philadelphia for Penns relays and I was saying to myself which principally rules Philly because it’s really bad.A part of the prayer for Philly should be to reveal which principally rules Philly so it can be addressed in prayer and fasting.

Is he good to the starving people in Sudan or gaza? Is he good to the ones dying of diseases that slowly robs them of their ability to function? Is he good to those with mental illnesses that won't let them tell real from illusions, and torments them their entire lifes? Or are you so self centered to only care about how your life is "blessed".
Consecration, sanctification is a process. Please be around positive humans. My family were very negative, they broke my heart. I went no contact and still am... clear mind as I heal. Praying that you hold God's hand no matter what. He's got you in His arms... your story!!! Super relatable!!!!!!

Yeap, I have a family member who treats AA like her religion. She’s 20 years (or more) sober but chain smokes, addicted to soda and curse like a sailor, very mean spirited. No where near a Christian
I pray all those in AA will trust in God and follow him more than they trust amd follow AA

I agree AA is a cult. God can deliver you from addiction, don't ever give up God loves you!
AA helps give people hope. I've seen lives changed thanks to the program.
Aa isn't for everyone. But it's not a cult. It's just a place where people can relate to eachother.

Chrisgreen2299 please do your research. AA was founded by " the Oxford group. Christ centered based on biblical principles. Unfortunately it was waterd down to attract more people. God can work through anything and I've seen many, many come to Christ through AA.

Loved this testimony. I can relate. I also learned about the sacrifices to the demon named moloch after having an abortion from prophetess Tiphani Montgomery. Thank you so much for sharing. This hit home because iam struggling with a drug and alcohol addiction and sex addiction as well due to trauma also dealing with depression for 6 yrs and being chronically ill from mold exposure for 5 yrs and almost dying from sepsis I really need God to deliver me I want to give up I’m losing the battle to fight 😢 I can’t go to church because ppl are so judgmental I’ve been so suicidal that ppl in the church even walked right past me even the pastor 😢

My alcohol addiction... and I feel the same as her .... I am not an addict and this is not an illness. AA never worked for me either.

I feel like a lot of us before Christ have grown up in horrrible environments which leads to us wanting to escape reality sort of say getting into horrible habits and if not dealt with quickly can lead to a road of destruction. . This is why it’s so important to start the foundation of a household on Jesus Christ. Doesn’t mean you have to take your child to church because unfortunately there’s another issue a lot of churches are not spirt filled or lead and if you take them there and it’s corrupt then it’s just going to make things even more worse if they’re not spiritually mature . If you can’t love your child properly Jesus can give them all Bibles and let them read it and tell them to pray and ask Jesus to come into their lives give your children to Jesus he will take care of them and provide
