In the books that was actually Phineas the portrait of the one Slytherin headmaster. He tells Fudge he disagrees with Dumbledore on many thing but, “you got to admit he’s got style.”
Molly Weasley is so underrated. She killed Bellatrix in 1 to 1 combat. She comes from a family of powerful witches and wizards. We only hear about Aberforth, but we see what Molly is able to do.
@@urmum9999 I def would’ve thought so, too, but the way it’s written, it seems like once Bellatrix’ smile falters into a snarl, she’s fully aware that Molly was dueling to kill, just as she was, so it seems like Molly just gets the best of her straight up as they are both locked in to a death-match.
This was due to bellatrix arrogance which led to her under estimating Molly while continously mocking her. If she treated her as someone competent bellatrix would have won.
I feel like Minerva should be higher than Abeforth just my opinion.I think Sirius is a close 7th and than Remus. Sirius above Remus because he was an amazing non verbal duelest and was able to keep his amazing powers even after spending 12 years not useing them. And Remus because he is very wise in the dark arts and DADA. He can also preform a Patronus and is just extreamly talented like Sirius.
Personally for me, my list would have a lot of ties, but for me: 1. Albus Dumbledore 2. Snape/McGonagall 3. Aberforth Dumbledore 4. Moody/Shacklebolt 5. Sirius Black/Lupin 6. Tonks/Molly
In my opinion, Sirius is better. Moody went down to Dolohov in the Department of Mysteries, but Sirius didn't seem to find it difficult to fight him. And, unpopular opinion, but in terms of power I'd place Sirius above Snape. James and Sirius were the top of almost everything in their year, and he was seemed to make Bellatrix use her complete strength in a duel and was still laughing at her (though it was the mistake that cost him his life). Seriously, you don't find people laughing and telling them they could do better while duelling an insane murderer who has also driven two accomplished Aurors into insanity. Bellatrix wasn't better than him, it was just Sirius's mistake that he underestimated her and stopped fighting to laugh and tell her she could do better. And perhaps he died because off the veil, because in the book, unlike the movie, the jet of light which hit him was red, not green. Also, you don't find people turning into a dog that could drag off a werewolf without a great effort every day. So, I keep Sirius above Snape in terms of power and skill. But it's just my opinion
Snape’s explanation was word for word if you watched the most powerful deatheaters. Wish he would’ve included what he did for the Order. Such as protect Harry and ask Dumbledore to hide the Potters.
Love how the Potters and Sirius didn't even make it to the list. Love those guys but this list is very plausible when it comes to power ranking. The only reason Snape held back was because he needed to help make Voldemort mortal before they kill him.
Lennon Doran I mean they were quite powerful as James and Sirius were the top of their class, they probably could have made it had James not died at 21 and Sirius spend 12 years in Azkaban
Yeah being top of the class is good and all but it isn't the same as being one of the most powerful wizards or witches. I know they could have achieved more if they had survived but that goes to everyone who died early. This list is ranking the most powerful wizards in the order not what if some characters lived longer, how powerful would they be. I get that the potters were exceptional and talented but that doesn't make them one of the top 6 most powerful wizards in the order of the phoenix. Same goes for sirius.
Lennon Doran I didn’t say they should be on the list I was just saying that they were powerful since you said they weren’t, but in turn we do see Sirius is able to dispatch of dolohov who previously injured mad eye in the battle and is only killed by bellatrix when he became distracted with taunting her.
sports maniac yeah, that makes sense. i was abefourth was shown more on both the books and movies. but he held his own on a duel against dumbeldore and grindlewald at the same time so i think he’s up there in terms of power.
I would say Kingsley is above Moody. Moody in his prime I would agree is above Kingsley but this moody is injured, old, and not the legendary wizard he once was. Kingsley on the other hand is still fresh and kicking.
@@shubhamtripathi5199 I don't disagree that Moody's Prime is greater than Kingsley's prime, but Moody was past his prime by the time of the books/ films. Analyzing these two characters as we see them Kingsley is in my view the better wizard at that point in time.
Agreed, but the order fought in the first war too and Moody played an integral part in capturing many Death eaters after the FWW. Kingsley was better than Moody in the second but Kingsley was not there altogether in the First and the video is on Most powerful phoenix members. For me its just apt that Moody is ranked above Kingsley.
@@magicalambientmusic1621 I feel moody deserved a higher place than her. Like literally he's the reason half the cells in azkaban are even full. He may not have been the best in dueling after the first wizarding war but he was definately still an extremely cunning wizard
In the duel between McGonagall and Snape, Snape wasn't just holding back... He was actually deflecting all McGonagall's offensive spells into the death eaters that stood beside him. And in terms of bravery, Snape (unlike what he's portrayed to be) is as brave, if not braver than Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville combined. To keep up those appearances for that amount of time without going completely mental in the process is amazing.
Never. Whatever people say and Harry himself thinks, Snape's not even nearly as brave as you think. And honestly, you think he's as brave as Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville combined! Ron was ready to sacrifice himself for someone he met not even a year earlier in the chess game, and he was an 11 year old then. Hermione didn't crack up to tell the truth when she was being tortured by Bellatrix and escape seemed impossible. Neville took lead against Voldemort in a battle all of them knew they were going to lose. And I don't believe I need to mention Harry's accomplishments because of nerve. Snape happily went over to Voldemort's side in the first wizarding war. If you call him brave for being a spy for Dumbledore by rejoining Voldemort, who thought Snape had left him forever, it's not exactly what I call courage. Snape knew that he was a brilliant Occlumens, and could keep his mind closed when he was around Voldemort. Calling him brave for that is as good as calling Dumbledore brave for walking towards Voldemort as if he didn't have a fear in the world in the ministry Atrium.
That was only in the movie. In the books, Snape simply hold back (The Carrows weren't present at all, since they were trapped in the Ravenclaw tower by McGonagall).
It is totally ridiculous, how much people glorify a sadistic and weird professor who can't get over his teenage crush. He is one of the most unhealthy characters in the entire HP series.
All of them are powerful and masters of their own crafts and I enjoy reading the chapters with them in it.I remember dreading the chapter "The Fallen Warrior" and when I finished that chapter (in a longer pace than the usual can't read properly with tears) I hated Rowling more than I hated Voldy. Snape was assigned to do all of those dirty and dangerous deeds by Dumbledore and I hope the whole wizarding world knows his sacrifices even at first he is selfish and blinded by hate. I didn't even expected Albus could ever die for me he's indestructible and that he's death was caused (for him) by his foolishness and greed he's still the best. He has his moments but we can't deny that he's one of the greatest and most loved wizard. Thank you for uploading this feels like a treat every time I wake up in the morning. Potterheads! Constant vigilance! ✨✨✨
It's right that Snape did all those "dirty and dangerous" deeds, he murdered and tortured countless people when he was a death eater (NAZI), he also bullied children and left a 1-year-old in a burning building because he simply didn't care. I am sick of people acting as if Snape was an amazing human being.
@@MRDEREVKO calm down, lol. They're just fictional characters. Yes he did those things but of course there are traumatic and unfortunate experiences and instances that eventually caused him to do those horrible things. I'm not saying that to justify what he has done but some people are weak and let the hurt and hate dominate their decision making. In the end his sacrifices and him risking his life everytime and betraying the Dark Lord and Death Eaters is more important. Isn't it? Harry even named his son after him. Blame Rowling. 😅🙏
@@MRDEREVKO I love Snape as a character, and Alan Rickman played him beautifully, but yeah... Snape was not a good person. He never got over his obsession, never felt remorse for causing James death and wouldn't have felt remorse for Harrys death either had Lily survived. The only reason he had any care for Harry is because Harry was the only piece of his obsession that was left. People believe that he truly loved her, but he didn't. He was obsessed, selfishly so, and that never changed. That was the whole point of the scene between him and Dumbledore where he conjures his patronus and says "always"... His obsession never died, and he never forgave himself for her death. He was a "nice guy" that never moved on from it, and never would even if she had lived. Even if she and James had lived, he would have creepily stalked the shadows, always trying. Had she survived, but James and Harry died, he would have obsessed over his broken shell of a person to play hero and comfort her and make her his. He was not a good person.
Kingsley Shacklebolt and Alastor Moody were my favorites members of the Order of the Phoenix. Too bad Alastor died 😭, but Kingsley became the new minister of magic🙂
Was Hermione ever an official member of the Order? If she was, she should be on this list. On top of her intellect, logic, quick thinking and raw magical power she kept Harry safe and hidden through the entire 7th book up until the Battle for Hogwarts. She mastered spells almost instantly and was advanced far beyond her years. She received O's on all her OWLs except one that she got an E in and got top grades in all her NEWTs. She was willing to play a decoy Harry in the Battle of 7 Potters. Her kindness to and protection of house elves allowed them to successfully get Kreacher to help them find the locket and even helped convince the goblin, Griphook, to help them break into Gringotts. She made sure they had everything they needed for hiding out (tent, clothes, money, the Invisibility Cloak, Dittany for injuries etc.) and helped make sure they had food. She made sure they had Polyjuice potion to disguise themselves. She saved them both from Godric's Hollow and from the Lovegood's. She did not break under torture by Bellatrix. She figured out how to destroy the horcruxes by taking the books from Dumbledore's office and partially figured out the connection between the Tale of the 3 Brothers and the Deathly Hallows symbol. She destroyed one of the horcruxes. She successfully dueled Bellatrix along side Ginny and Luna. She successfully completely erased herself from her parents' memories. (And she might have become Minister of Magic.) Not to mention all the help she provided and magical ability she showed in the first 6 books, including being trusted with a Time Turner, that would not have been possible were it not for her being a very powerful witch.
Yes Starting from Sorcerer stone, Hermoine magical abilities are outstanding. She is definitely one of the powerful witch which dumbledore also knows. Thats why he let himself die so that harry potter will have a greater supporting hand by the intelligence and power of Hermoine.
In the movie at least, Snape was able to split the curse that McGonagall threw at him and hit the two baddies standing on either side behind him. That's impressive.
Another cool thing in that scene is that as he turns in to the flying bat thing he, like, backflips on to each of the Carrows and takes their wands so they cant fight in the battle of hogwarts. Too bad that it wasnt in the books🙁
@@channingbond6417 Snape was a badass, no doubt. Before the final book came out, I thought "Snape has got to be a double agent." I was sort of proud to have guessed right.
6:54 Just gonna say Lily and Him were NEVER in some romantic relationship - Lily never had any feelings other than platonic for Snape, she likely saw him as the brother she never had - as it stands a big part of his character is that he never professed his 'love' for her and stuff
You're forgetting that he had to hold his own against not only his brother, but grindelwald as well. He is a pretty damn powerful wizard in his own right. He might not be a major character but it doesn't mean that he can't hold his own.
Bruh he stunned Rockwood, and held his own against Grindewald (whom arguably was more dangerous than Voldemort) and Albus Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard of all time, and he didn’t need the Elder Wand that either. Aberforth is not just pretty damn good, he’s that damn good.
It depends. It's canon that heightened emotions can fuel your magic, and that love is the most powerful force in the HP world, so the time Aberforth stalemated Grindelwald could be explained by his fury over how his sister was being treated. Take away that outrage and those emotions and you're left with a wizard who, according to his brother, might not be able to read.
@@slevinchannel7589 Not really. It would make a very interesting and insightful video. Just because a video is informative, that doesn't make it boring.
I'm very happy that your channel is going to get a well deserved boost now that Hogwarts Legacy will bring a new generation of curious, lore hungry Potter fans
I love how all the powerful wizards and witches were also good in their studies, It shows that they actually worked hard to become powerful. So kids stay at school and study!!!
I'd put moody above mcgonagall. Mcgonagall might have more experience at things like transfiguration and other theoretical things, but it's undeniable that moody has tons of experience and I belive that his dueling skills far out match mcgonagall's. However, I'm not sure if moody is more powerful than Snape. It's true that moody had more experience, but Snape has gone much deeper than him in the dark arts and he's not afraid to use that knowledge when necessary. I actually really like you'r point about how Snape would be in the level of Dumbledore had he had more time to improve and learn. Edit: I also think that Abefort should be lower on the list. He may have dueld Grindelwalt but don't forget that albus was on his side (and that's a huge advantage). And also, we have never seen anything in the books that show him doing anything extraordinar (besides conjuring an non-verbal corporeal patrons) and we can't simply suppose that just because he is a Dumbledore he must be powerful. Magic prowess is not only something you are born with, it also requires a lot of practice.
Moody is old and injured, and while he might be a more accomplished duelist than Minerva, she probably knows much more magic and has a wider array of spells.
I won't put Moody under Snape, Moody iii his prime could have defeated Snape without much of an effort. He was the best Auror the Ministry ever had, and Snape wouldn't have been able to defeat him in a 1v1 duel. As for Snape being as good as Albus Dumbledore, I consider it sort of a joke. Albus was an exceptionally powerful wizard ever since he started Hogwarts, and in his duel against Voldemort made in the Atrium, where he was only holding Voldemort off so that Aurors could see him before Voldemort fled. And put it this way, how long could have a 38 year old Snape have lasted against a 38 year old Albus? If Albus was seriously duelling to kill, Snape would been dead in 3 minutes.
@@thelegend1801 I agree. Heck, if we not only consider Order members, the top 5 duelist most likely are 1. Dumbledore 2. Flitwick 3. Moody 4. Kingsley 5. Snape.
I have been mesmerized by our content and your decision making is out of the park. love your videos. Can you make next video on the most badass moments in HP?
No doubt snape would've been one of most powerful wizards, book snape invented alot of powerful spells aswell just in school, probably would of gone on to be equal to or stronger than dumbledore and voldy. Power is not just in raw power but intricacy and mastery of each dicipline.
on dumbledores age snape would be stronger, but better than young dumbledore?? I don't think so. Dumbledore is/was extremely skilled and much more powerful than him.
Snape should not be higher than McGonagall maybe even Abeforth.Snape wasn't holding back against McGonagall, his counter spells proves that. He was fighting for his life. Even JKR doesn't hold him that high. Ik Ik I'm going to get attacked like last time...Great video tho👏 Harry's and Hermione's relationship reminds me of Albus and McGonagall
No he wasn't. He was hiding behind a metal suit from the daggers McGonagall sent his was by changing the exact spell that Snape sent her way. Snape was fleeing as the other 2 were running up. Snape was losing.
@@ardademirhan2452 Oh I definitely agree. I get attacked sometimes rudely for that opinion. I'm like am I the only who has read and or listened to the books? Not only James, i think Sirius is more powerful. Lol Slughorn himself somewhat teased that snape wasn't that good in potions(well paraphrasing there because the statement was completed) definitely not as great as Lilly. The half blood prince's textbook means that he didn't get the potions right on the 1st try. Lilly could have been the one who told him how. Hey Hermione did say the handwriting of the potions looked like a girl's. I even doubt he was more powerful than Bellatrix... Occlumency is probably about it, though Bellatrix was able to teach Draco well enough that Snape couldn't penetrate his mind...Good detailed response 👌.
I think Putting Aberforth over Mcgonagall and Moody was a bit strange. Though your reasons are correct but I think Sirius or Potters or maybe even prewettes could've deserved a spot, not to mention Lupin and Tonks too. Even Emelia Vance was powerful so was Ameleia bones brother. In short Order was the best wizarding organization with extremely powerful witches and wizards👍
@@shubhamtripathi5199 You forgot Neville, he turned out to be a fast learner once he had his own wand. Even Luna was useful, she knew about the diadem, the last horcrux not counting Harry himself. Harry was definitely #1, then Hermione etc.
@iCommanderGhostly Would "still" beat him? Voldy got his ass handed by the good Dumbledore in the duel in the books, when Dumbledore was 115 years old and Voldy like 68. Voldy would be dead before he could attend Hogwarts if Dumbledore wanted to be evil.
8:00 Look, I like Snape, and he's obviously gifted. But there is a difference between being Valedictorian of your class in music and being Mozart. Snape was smart and talented, but he was not Mozart. He was not Dumbledore or Voldemort, and even given decades, he wasn't going to match them.
Its possible she was only able to do this bc her maternal instincts kicked in as ginny was nearly killed by bellatrix and she may not have been able to beat bellatrix outside of these conditions. Who knows. Maybe molly is super underrated 😄
@@Lewis8Z Often forgotten but Molly's brothers were two of the most talent members of the original order. And Ginny is proof that sisters in their family tend to be overlooked.
@HarryPotterTheory : *talking about Kinsley’s mastery in like 20 things* Me: “So who’s number one, BATMAN with the INFINITY GAUNTLET?” I didn’t know Minerva was a member of the Order.... Or did I just forget? That DOES happen a lot... You’re BRAVER than I am. I could NEVER make a top x list for ANYTHING. I always feel like I’m being rude. And I try to avoid that as much as possible.
@@ashleypark83 Actually, Minerva was part of the Order. The one helping/supporting the Order was Flitwick (Who could have have been a member as well, meaning he would totally rank second in this list).
I think it would be more like 6. Aberforth 5. kingsley 4. moody 3. snape 2. mcgonagall 1. dumbledore Mcgonagall is after Grindelwald, dumbledore and voldy the most powerful witch. she is closely followed by snape.
Merlin was maybe powerful than Dumbledore ,but this video is on Order members only. Other than this Merlin was taught by Salazar Slythrin so maybe he was more ambitious and clever than Dumbledore
James and Sirius were described as the best in hogwarts that means even better than Snape. At least by the time of James death. So obviously they are above Lily potter. Aberforth was able to duel Grindelwald and if a Dumbledore so obviously at least top 5.
Where are the Prewett Brothers. It took five Death-Eaters (Including Antonin Dolohov) to take them down. So yeah, they are possibly even stronger than James and Sirius.
I have to disgree with Moody being one of the most "powerful". He got his butt kicked and kidnapped by Barty Crouch Jr. Then got killed by Voldemort (supposedly). Several of these wizards and witches were actually NOT members of the "Order of the Phoenix". They merely decided to fight against Voldemorts army to defend Hogwarts when it was attacked.
You are forgetting that Moody was past his prime by then. Prime Moody is the third most powerful wizard in the Voldemort Wizarding World (Not counting Grindelwald as such), behind Dumbledore and Voldemort. So yeah, Moody belongs on this list, since Prime Moody would wipe the floor with everyone on this list, except for Dumbledore.
My top 6: 1. Albus Dumbledore 2. Mad eye moody 3. Sirius Black (he dueled Bellatrix almost the whole time at the battle of the ministry!) 4. Kinsley Shackelbolt 5. Severus Snape 6. The Potters
1:20 To think that the Potters, Sirius and Pettigrew are supposed to be around 20yo at this picture is mind blowing. They look closer to 40. (the picture might have been taken before Harry was born which would suggest that the all would've been in their teens)
To be honest here when Snape duels Minerva in the Film he doesn’t just ‘match’ her but he is actually smoking her even being incredibly shaken and holding back cause if you look closely you can see how it is HIM who redirects McGonagall’s spells to hit and knock out both Carrows. He deliberately deflects the spells to hit them both as he is retreating and resisting Minerva’s attacks.
Why would the longbottoms and marauders better than shacklebolt? I’d assume shacklebolt would be at least better than the marauders as he was an auror. Unless there is some evidence behind your opinion. I personally don’t think the potters would be somehow more powerful than mcgonagall and any other auror just because their name is Potter
8:10 I don’t know I think Merlin may still be the most powerful wizard to have lived. I mean the Hogwarts 4 were also great. But who knows for certain all the Prince of Charms accomplished since he didn’t have a war to fight, unless there is truth to Arthurian legend. Though of modern times Dumbledore is certainly acknowledged as the greatest of his age, with Grindelwald close in their prime. And of course Voldemort the most dangerous dark wizard of all time. For his wars for power as there were arguably greater dark wizards that experimented and made powerful discoveries in the dark arts. Such as Azkaban’s creator.
I agree with Snapes ranking, but I don't agree with him being as strong as Dumbledore if he had more practice because if you look at Dumbledore and Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts they far outclass Snape and they seem to even look younger than Snape and especially Grindelwald based off of what we've seen.
So what makes a Wizard powerful or not? How do you define a Wizards power? Is it the number of spells they can cast? Are some Wizards capable of casting certain spells and others not? Do spells vary in effect and intensity depending on who casts it? How do wands fit into the equation? Can a strong wand make a weak wizard more powerful? Would an inferior wand make a powerful wizard less so? What limits which spells a wizard can cast and how often they can cast them? Does casting spells weaken a wizard or tire them out? Does a powerful wizard have more stamina than a weaker one?
What made Voldemort so feared and powerful? Why was he so hard to get rid of? Even with all of his Horcruxes he was still only one avada kadavera away from defeat. We're told theres no defense against the killing curse, so why didn't someone just use it on him. Snape was often close enough to Voldemort to do it. Also why did Voldemort bother dueling Dumbledore with fire, darkness and glass which were all defendable, if he really wanted to kill Dumbledore why didn't he use his favourite curse on him?
If Snape were to use the killing curse on Voldemort the same thing would happen that happened in 1981. Voldemort would be brought to nearly nothing, but he still would not be dead. He would likely be revived much quicker now that the Death Eaters know he can come back, and Snape would lose his important position as a trusted servant to Voldemort. For the duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore, Voldemort had tried to use the killing curse on Dumbledore multiple times but failed to kill him. He probably figured that he would have better luck trying to beat him with enormous creations of magic that would be more unexpected than the killing curse. Voldemort was known for that curse so Dumbledore was already aware that Voldemort would try to use it and had options ready on how to avoid it, like bringing objects in front of the curse, or having Fawkes take the curse himself, knowing he would quickly be reborn.
In terms of power, ability and skill: 1. Dumbledore (obvious reasons) 2. Edgar Bones (dead through an ambush but JK Rowling said his death was the biggest blow for the Order in the first war). 3. Severus Snape (defected without Voldemort realising, mastered several obscure curses and invented his own spells.) 4. Mad Eye Moody (in his prime and was the top ranked British Auror ever) 5. Aberforth (very underestimated and overlooked but his creepy goat fetish aside he is a powerhouse). The Marauders don't even make Top Ten as they were two to three years out of Hogwarts during the First War and there were several other powerful wizards likely affiliated with the First Order such as the Prewett Brothers, other members of Edgar Bones family, the Scamander Brothers, McKinnons, McGonagall (in some capacity), Sturgis Podmore, Longbottoms (who were both aurors).
My list :- 1) Albus Dumbledore 2) Severus Snape 3) Minerva McGonagall 4) Kingsley shacklebolt 5) Remus lupin(at his peak) 6) Sirius Black 7) Harry Potter (adult) 8) Moody(the one we see during 2nd wizarding war aka not prime) 9) aberforth Dumbledore (could be a lot higher but is featless so he's this low) 10) James Potter 11) Molly Weasley 12)Tonks 13) Lily Potter 14) the longbottoms
My PERSONAL ranking: 1.-Albus Dumbledore 2-Aberforth Dumbledore (Not so sure) 3.- Severus Snape 4.- Minerva Mcgonagall 5.- Alastor Moody (prime) / Filius Flitwick (although he wasn’t ok the OoP i think) 6.- Kingsley Shacklebolt 7.- Sirius Black/James Potter 8.-Remus Lupin/Lily Potter
Aberforth Dumbledore shouldn't be that high on the list. There were multiple instances in the 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' book where it was stated that Albus outclassed him immensely. To directly quote from the book, "Albus could have destroyed Aberforth in a duel with both hands tied behind his back". This shows that Aberforth was more of a quick-to-duel sort of wizard who liked using wands before words. The mere analogy that Albus could "destroy" him without even using his hands shows that perhaps Aberforth wasn't so great at the art of dueling, he just liked to duel. I, therefore, don't think he was powerful enough to earn a spot of number 3 on the list.
Aberforth literally went 1v1v1 against Albus and Grindelwald (The 2 most powerful wizards at the time) and lived to tell the tale, so yeah, Aberforth is powerful.

I disagree. Aberforth was way more powerful than any order member besides severus and Albus.
Personally for me, my list would have a lot of ties, but for me:
1. Albus Dumbledore
2. Snape/McGonagall
3. Aberforth Dumbledore
4. Moody/Shacklebolt
5. Sirius Black/Lupin
6. Tonks/Molly
Tonks is a accomplished auror, moody's apprentice might be better than sirius
Kinda feels like cheating, when it's supposed to be a top five and you add ten characters.
Grindelwald ?
@@thelegend1801 objectively speaking snape stomps sirius though
Snape’s explanation was word for word if you watched the most powerful deatheaters. Wish he would’ve included what he did for the Order. Such as protect Harry and ask Dumbledore to hide the Potters.
Love how the Potters and Sirius didn't even make it to the list. Love those guys but this list is very plausible when it comes to power ranking. The only reason Snape held back was because he needed to help make Voldemort mortal before they kill him.
We'll the potters weren't that powerful and sirius wasn't either. They were definitely skilled but not above anyone on this list.

I would say Kingsley is above Moody. Moody in his prime I would agree is above Kingsley but this moody is injured, old, and not the legendary wizard he once was. Kingsley on the other hand is still fresh and kicking.
He looked at both First and Second Wizarding Wars though.

Mcgonagall is highly underrated in this video.
*highly*...Okay she could have gotten one place up, but so what.
Yes
@@thelegend1801 Ron is pretty cowardly
That was only in the movie. In the books, Snape simply hold back (The Carrows weren't present at all, since they were trapped in the Ravenclaw tower by McGonagall).

Kingsley didn't only became the new Minister of Magic, he also became the new leader of the Order when Moody died.
2 of my 3 favourite Order members, mine are like you mentioned, Shacklebolt and Moody, my favourite is Tonks lol.
Mreffs101 No she was not
She didn’t figure out how to destroy horcruxes

I think Aberforth Dumbledore should be a bit lower down, he’s not that good.
How? He should be even higher, he just as strong has Albus Dumbledore, He should be 2nd.
He's powerful, he's just keeping it lowkey and chose not to do as much as dumbledore or others did

In the book, he is beating her in their duel, and he only flees bc slughorn, flitwick and sprout arrive to defend her.
War time, british weather and cultural alcohol abuse
Im gonna turn 12 soon
Still no Hogwarts letter 🥺🥺🥺
I'm 14 still no letter

To be honest here when Snape duels Minerva in the Film he doesn’t just ‘match’ her but he is actually smoking her even being incredibly shaken and holding back cause if you look closely you can see how it is HIM who redirects McGonagall’s spells to hit and knock out both Carrows. He deliberately deflects the spells to hit them both as he is retreating and resisting Minerva’s attacks.
1. albus dumbledore 2. snape 3. moody 4. prewetts 5. potters 6. mcgonagall 7. longbottoms 8. maruaders 9. shacklebolt
@@Coolboy-er9lx True. But they shouldn't also be lower than 5th.

3)Moody
4)Snape
5) McGonagall
6) Kingsley
saying that snape is weaker then moody is just treason
Awesome 😎
i want to see your opinion who is the most powerful hogwarts STUDENTS.
Merlin is way more powerful than Dumbledore.
Im pretty sure that mcgonagall was stronger than aberforth and snape
Well, i think, you are pretty good with that ranking.
In terms of power, ability and skill:
1. Dumbledore (obvious reasons)
2. Edgar Bones (dead through an ambush but JK Rowling said his death was the biggest blow for the Order in the first war).
3. Severus Snape (defected without Voldemort realising, mastered several obscure curses and invented his own spells.)
4. Mad Eye Moody (in his prime and was the top ranked British Auror ever)
My list :-
1) Albus Dumbledore
2) Severus Snape
3) Minerva McGonagall
4) Kingsley shacklebolt
5) Remus lupin(at his peak)
6) Sirius Black
7) Harry Potter (adult)
8) Moody(the one we see during 2nd wizarding war aka not prime)
9) aberforth Dumbledore (could be a lot higher but is featless so he's this low)
10) James Potter
11) Molly Weasley
12)Tonks
13) Lily Potter
14) the longbottoms
My PERSONAL ranking:
1.-Albus Dumbledore
2-Aberforth Dumbledore (Not so sure)
3.- Severus Snape
4.- Minerva Mcgonagall
5.- Alastor Moody (prime) / Filius Flitwick (although he wasn’t ok the OoP i think)
6.- Kingsley Shacklebolt
7.- Sirius Black/James Potter
8.-Remus Lupin/Lily Potter
Please make a video on hierarchy of teachers at hogwarts, like who is in command
1. Albus Dumbledore
2. Alstor Moody
3. Kingsley Shakebolt
4. Severus Snape
5. Minerva McGonagal
6. Sirius Black
Amazing 😉
Its annoying harry was never betrayed like his father was. The closest we got was seamus taking the daily prophets side and rons jealousy spats.
