very helpful. Thank you! I am drawing a Pug and you reminded me that there is a tone to the fur even though it looks "white" in the B/W version. Now I use a color and a B/W version as reference.
I really appreciate you stressing the importance of working lightly. This not only helps my work but helps me be able to draw for longer periods with arthritic hands!
Stunning piece of work!! Thank you for sharing your tips and techniques on drawing white fur!! 😄💜
Woaaaah ! I love it ! thanks a lot !
Incredibly beautiful
Hello from Colombia, as always this is a beautiful draw
A stunningly gorgeous drawing (-: Marion
Thank you so much Marion :D
Looks great, i’m an amateur but after doing my first couple of colored pencil drawings i actually found graphite and charcoal a lot easier. It’s like learning to gradate using different color shades makes gradating dark to light in one color a lot easier.
Beautiful artwork! I learned a lot about the technique. You are very good and have given me a lot of inspiration. You are very talented! I will continue to support you.
Thank you so much! Great to hear:)
Very beautiful drawing
Love it!! May need to attempt this one. I’m just finishing up a wolf profile in graphite. Thanks for sharing ❤️

Thank you very much! :D
Very nice, please do more :-)
What is an indenting tool you referenced saying you should have used instead of the eraser?
Hi , Leontine, the paper Canson 1557 works similar to Fabriano Artistico?
You have a new profile picture! Beautiful photo!! And drawing! 😊 In the end, even though you were nervous about using graphite, did you find it easier/faster then colored pencil? I haven't used it in years either, I like colors too much, but I do find it easier because you don't have to pick colors and it blends easier...
Yess it was about time for a new pic haha! Thank you! I do think I still find colored pencil easier, but that's just because I've had way more practice with them the past years. When I switched from graphite to color I thought color was way more difficult haha, so it's just what you're used to. Graphite is quicker though so it is easier when your don't have much patience:p
I've been trying to do more colored pencil but graphite I find much easier. And it erases easily lol.
Hi Leontine would you please tell me what pen did you use to draw the white whisker? thank you,Victor
Lovely. What kind of smudging towel did you use? Microfiber? Standard terry cloth? Thanks.
Oh yeah it's an old microfiber cloth! :)
I use a chamois cloth it blends perfectly.
👍super!!
I use a stylus indentation tool for fur, you should try it
I love your content! Can I request a rat drawing?
