    I love mine! Just make sure you have the latest Firmware Update and you're good to go! 😎

    I'm in love with mine. Using it almost everyday.
    I hope they add a way to mute midi being sent from the tracks to external gear, and a way to record the external input to the mixtape recording.
    Im so happy I've finally found a new school sampler I connect with. As a person who has spent years with a MPC60 and MPC1000, the new ones are not for me.

      Yeah, I really understand what you're saying. New AKAIs for me is an android device with a daw inside. I am using gear cause I don't want to use a computer... I myself am a Digitakt guy, but it's simple as well and very nice to use.
      Dr Yuendo is a guy always working on improving his stuff, for sure send your ideas :P

    Best velocity pads out there, love 'em. And being able to turn off the 12bit effect is awesome. Sold my Digitakts and my Octatrack is gathering dust. Love this thing and their firmware updates are superb

      Better than MPC?

    • @Farold_Haltermeyer
      @Farold_Haltermeyer Місяць тому

      @@Myexpectationsarerealisticdepends what you do, how you do it and what you need. For me I've never enjoyed working on an MPC despite having used many over the years. So I'm not sure what "better" looks like, but for me I found this thing appealing, fluid and inspiring and those were things missing from my experiences elsewhere

      @@Farold_Haltermeyer You're spoiled. Twenty years ago, you couldn't beat an MPC for tactility. Now you people think this crap is difficult, and you're the problem most of the time.

    Great video! Loving the LoFi-12 a lot, been using it a lot.
    But I have a question regarding your power bank. It's the MyVolt one, right? How long can you run the Lofi with it? Approximately.

      Hi! Thanks for the video! Yes it is :)
      Well I had to return the LoFi to my friends at Microfusa, but overall testing it and filiming I was on about 9 hours with it and the powerbank had 3 dots... So I guess a lot :D ? ahah sorry I can't be super specific, but it has a lot of millage! Thanks for watching!

    Something you might want to consider. Using your mic to pick up audio from the speaker…
    That doesn’t REALLY tell us anything about the sound it creates. On top of that UA-cam messes with the audio too…
    Maybe in the future run the headphone output on the device and your mic to a mixer so that we can get a better idea of what the audio sounds like?

    • @AThousandDetails
      @AThousandDetails  16 днів тому

      Hi. Why would I want my mic to pick up audio from the speaker?
      I think you're missing some kind of point here or not understanding how things are?
      Any instrument I take goes line in directly as it's obvious and the mic is on another track, for mixing purposes later on. This is a 12Bit Sampler, and on purpose I only used it as a 12 Bit Sampler, which makes things way more dirty and interesting in my opinion. You're hearing direct LINE IN SOUND with no added treatment or whatever so you can really hear what it sounds like, instead of drenched in reverb videos to make it sound "beautiful". You'll hear the exact same thing monitoring directly from a piece of gear or if you connect it to a mixer or interface, and don't do any treatment.
      The only thing I'd like to change in the future is getting a way better mic instead of using my wireless go II with a Lavalier mic. Other than that, I'm sorry but I don't even understand your argument.
      Thanks for your feedback anyway.

      @@AThousandDetails I own this device so I'm well aware of how it works. The problem is I thought you were using Line In for something, I misjudged where the plugs were.
      It was an honest mistake.
      I was trying to help you.
      But thank you for the wall of text. I understand you're one of those perfect people that never mistakes, needs to berate someone trying to assist, and in the end chases off viewers.
      I won't make the mistake of returning.
      Thanks for your passive aggressiveness anyway...

    If you don't mind, which ripcord is that? And is the external battery dialed in to a specific voltage or does it regulate itself, plug and play style?

    • @AThousandDetails
      @AThousandDetails  Місяць тому

      Hi! The battery is from myvolts, it self regulated, plug n play let’s go. You just need the correct Voltage plug onto the usb-c cable. The cables are their most recent ones with s Wattage indicator and silky touch! Thanks for watching!

    I got one question. I saw that you can recieve audio over USB for sampling etc. My question is can you send audio over USB, for instance to see it as external instrument in Ableton or other DAW but over USB?
