Mauryans were Kshatriyas, they arrived after Lord Buddha's Parinirvana to take away relics, but as the other Kshatriayas have already taken them away, got ash from the site and built Angara chaitya.
Mauryans were a division of Sakyans who lived in Pippali Wana and got their name after their city Moriya Nagara.Sakyans were direct descendants of Mahasammata Manu, Mandhata, Sagara, Dasaratha and Lord Rama.
These things are very clearly documented in Buddhist text.

There are some historical problem.
It's just the establish history.
According to traditional history chandragupta Maurya was around 1500bc and infact their was no mention in Indian history about Maurya emperor coming in Alexander.
Indo Greek kings have already exists in that area way before Alexander come.
Nor is there a mention of Selukish daughter name in historical records.
Nor about the drought which occurs during chandragupta Maurya rule which is recorded in Indic source but not in Greek Source.
All this mistake were made when someone claim that Sondrokotos in Geek litrature is referring to Chandragupta Maurya without any proof to back it.
Instead the time of Chandragupta I of Gupta dynasty is inline with Alexandra time according to traditional history of subcontinent.
When the chandragupta 2 from Gupta dynasty who become jain monks in later whose capital was ujan and clearly mentioned in primary source in Sanskrit is associated with chandragupta Maurya.

And second buddhist, jain text ne bol diya na tha han Helena ki story fake ho sakti hai kyunki mauryan era ke jo bhi sikke mile hai unpar uski koi jankaari nhi hai

Another thing is original Indica was lossed.
Gupta dynasty also has chandragupta I who was father of Samudragupta
Chandragupta Maurya came after Alexander the great's departure, he reigned from 322/321-297 bce
Ashoka ruled in 3 rd century bce because he had mentioned 5 great Greek kings of the time
Puranas only provide kings name and years they reigned
@@ayushkumarsingh3029 He was way before Alexander in 1500 bc not 300bcs that time Gupta dynasty was in power. One Alexander general fought was Chandragupta first of Gupta dynasty. Greeks are called Elina or Elinic clans and one of the ancient clans of bharat. Even during mahabharata war they participate under king Bhagdhat. Bro you need to get knowledge from sastras. Modern histroy is distorted. Sastras and tradition mention that mahabharata war occurred around 5000bc and Chandragupta become first Chakravarti Samrat 1500 years after mahabharata. A Chakravarti Samrat one is called when one rule hole of jambudweep(Asia) at the minimum.
The Asoka you are taking about is son of Bindusar and has no relationship with Murya dynasty.
When the asoka inscription you know of had no mention of Asoka instead it's has a title Devapriyadasi meaning a person loved by Devas. Asoka never participated in Kalinga war as he never had to as it was already part of his Samrajya.

If this is your source then stop preparing , mauryan origin is not know as some say as mentioned in vedio which is bs , in reality mauryan were from bharmin warrior clan and today we are put in bc but in reality frm one generation to other we still know some part story within our genetic structure ot say marriage and parampara , they were either kashtriya or mix of bhar min kastriye vansh ,as uska .
