How different is doing it this way vs bit mapping halftones in photoshop?

I know, this response is a bit late, but after a week of trial and error i just figured out how to do it. First you need to make sure you have the GPL Ghostscript installed (the one that comes with CorelDraw Setup), you need to do as if you were to uninstall coreldraw but insted click MODIFY and just follow the windows you will find the GLP Ghostscript option, then on GhostView 5.0 make sure the correct GhostScript version is selected, it's on the menu somewere EASY CONFIGURE, just select the version from corel 8.64 i believe, hope it helps.

hi shannon what lpi would i use for a 200 mesh count thanks steve

You should be able to easily hold 50-55 - I use 45 on a 158 mesh. The smaller the dots the more difficult it will be to print. also the finer the mesh the more difficulty you'll have getting even ink coverage on the solids which is why I use 158.

I keep getting some sort of error message once I click print within GSV. Followed steps from your video many times. I am using Coreldraw 2020. Converted imagage to bitmap (grayscale.) Then hit print, save file then open in GSV. Is there anything I may be doing wrong or an added step? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So the file displays in Ghostview but you get an error message when you try and print? What does the error message say? If it displays properly in GSV you should be able to print using your normal printer settings.

@@NShannonWalker when I get a chance this evening I'll try it again so its brings up the message. But states something along lines of "can't recognize image." Like mentioned only when I click print.

@@NShannonWalker figured it all out. Uninstalled ghost script and ghostview. Installed the gjostscript that comes with Coreldraw. Clicked notify them reinstalled ghostview and it worked perfect. Did a couple test prints on regular paper. Thank you very much for trying to help me.
