I've seen chance the rapper's progression as a rapper and a poet he's probably referring to the highs and the lows of his career 10 day-Coloring book which is where people said Chance reached his peak but he felt like he hadn't put out his best work even though acid is his best mixtape and also the big day which was the lowest point his in his career because that album wasn't the chance the rapper we loved he felt like disappointed his fans with that being his first album because everyone thought we'd get another acid rap but we didn't get anythere close there now chance is having his comeback arc
