I was there! People were going insane. This club has the DJ booth way up on a balconey, but there are risers behind the booth where you can watch the DJ. We noticed he slipped some CDs into an older style CD player and were like, what?? CDs??? haha look at it now, all on a laptop.
Late 90s early 00's were great years for electronic music in Boston. We were lucky to have superstar DJs at Avaland ( Avalon on Fridays). Back then the hard house scene was huge. Sometimes you would make a trip to NYC just to go to Twilo or Cielo but Avalon was the place. Those were the days!!!

Avalon sure looks different from this point of view in the thumbnail. Avalon was best in Boston, hell, all of New England.

This was also a transitional time for PVD. He left all his old tracks behind around this point. All of the 90s hits were in his trash bin. A bit disappointing.
