I’m so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of your mom. The unexpected loss must be devastating in so many ways.
My dad was on hospice and passed December of 2016 (7.5 years ago). Even though I knew he was dying, I sill wish I could have one more minute with him to repeat a million loving things I had already said to him. During his last hour, I held his right hand and kept him warm. Each time I whispered “It’s your little girl, I’m not leaving you”, he’d ever so slightly try to raise his eyebrows, followed by a long, deep comfortable sigh. I just knew he knew I was there. I knew when he left, he could feel my love and still does to this day. Even though he died too young, he lived 10,000 lives on earth. No doubt you’ll see your mom again, and you’ll realize then, that her love never really left you x 💛
To end on a happy note, you had asked about Ginger Beer. It’s always in our refrigerator so I just asked my husband about it. I don’t drink (gives me horrible migraines), but he’s been working events at private homes for the past 15 years about once or twice a week. I don’t think he’d give up private bartending if we were millionaires. He loves it too much! He was a bartender at Patrick Mahomes gender reveal party a few years back. When Patrick found out he was having a boy, he ran and did a huge cannon ball in the pool! Too many celebrities to mention, but my husband just loves it and has the perfect personality for that type of job.
We live in the Dallas area of Texas, but I was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston. He was born in Manhattan and raised in Jersey. We both share that same “East Coast” way of life. He said that Ginger Beer is far more popular in Texas. Ginger Beer a mixer and is most commonly used to make a Moscow Mule (Vodka, Lime juice and Ginger Beer), served in a copper mug, garnished with a lime. Moscow Mule gets its name from the 2 main ingredients (Vodka is known from Moscow, Russia, and ginger beer has a spicy kick to it, like a mule’s kick). The copper mug keeps the drink cold and enhances the individual flavors of the vodka, ginger beer and lime. Contrary to popular belief, the Moscow Mule was first made in Manhattan after WWII. My husband doesn’t care for vodka. He likes gin, so he’ll often make himself a Gin Mule (also known as a London Mule or a British Mule). He drinks it in a copper mug with the Vodka brand Tito’s, which is homemade in Austin, Texas (which is fun to read about).

@yettykitty4893 losing a parent is never easy. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My dad was the same way we knew it was just a matter of time before he passed but with my mom she was fine in the morning and then gone in the afternoon.

So ginger beer, it is just a carbonated soft drink made from ginger basically, very sweet with bit of a kick from the ginger with good one (IMO). Old Jamaican is the most famous over here I reckon and normally it is non-alcoholic but you can get some they have a % to them as well like Crabbies. In case you didn't know we also have ginger ale with is still another carbonated drink made with ginger but very different flavour, not as sweet and is mainly used as a mixer and then there is ginger wine which you mix with whiskey to make a whisky mac. You need to come over here and we can try them :P. Much love bro.

I lost my dad while I was 28 and he was 54. It was so hard and heartbreaking. It never goes away. Hugs!!

This song was written when his grandmother passed and is written from the viewpoint of his mom. Visiting hours is another good and emotional song from him. To see the other side, check out You Need Me, I Don't Need You, recorded in the live room. Its Ed creating a track on a loop pedal and rapping over it. Ed truly is a musical genius and seems to be a very down to earth person. To cross the two, check out Everything has changed with him and Taylor, the video version is a must for that one though, its cute.
