- We found a bunker underneath Debenhams... We have to deal with Gang Chavs who were threatening with a knife. Once they were scuttled away we had the place to ourselves.

I loved this one Matt, my family go back in Pompey traced to about the 1600s. I got my first music centre in Debenhams in 1984 for Christmas. Other things I remember as a kid was seeing that Big Trax remote control toy in there but not getting it and also Christmas 1984 getting the ghostbusters game for the spectrum with money from my aunts and uncles, a wide eyed kid aged 12! Loved it in there, magical… such a shame it went to the dogs… great video, much appreciated!

I enjoyed that video. I love seeing bits of Portsmouth, I was born there but only lived there about 4 or 5 years. Visited there a lot as kid. I liked Debenhams, but mostly went to the one in Southampton, I was trying to be a beatnik back then and we teens were watched by staff as we walked around the store. We never ever stole things. I haven't been to Portsmouth in over 40 years, must be very different now. What are they going to do with the old store? Like you said it looks built to last many more years. Water in basement not good though. Thank you Matt for the fly overs you do good work with drones💖💖

1:17:18 It looks like the fulcrum is in the middle of the brake levers so you would probably have to push both top parts in towards the electromagnet if I am not mistaken. The motors look nice and vintage, I don't know when I last saw a motor that big which you could actually see the stator windings through the ends of the casing.

Great Explore I've never understood why company's just leave these buildings to go to shit. But they always make a good explore. Those chav's are just "ARSEHOLES" the Cop's turning up after 20 minutes is a very quick response usually it takes days.

You must have just missed getting caught on the way out. The truck that was parked where your ladder was, was not in the drone fly over

You two were lucky. We have garbage over here in the US that would have just shot you and stole your equipment for drug money.
