Johnreward Ovwromo Buhari and APC have done worse than driving on the BRT lane. They have neither apologized nor resigned.
All the guy did was break the law, which indeed is not excusable. For which as a honorable person, he has apologized and has been fined.
Buhari and APC have destroyed lives, change people's destinies and plunged generations into untold misery.
A mere apology would have been the least to ask from them but alas, how can they give what they don't have?

You bet he did and i am glad he decided to apologize for a wrong doing, kudus. Then speaking of how horrible, rough, condescending, dehumanizing and bullyish those men/animals are or can when trying to correct those wrong acts, it will take only a person with a mind like our creator not to loose it at that moment. I have been in that situation and was not even on the wrong lane when one overzealous one pulled off my plate number which already puts you at their mercy. I lost it but every single word i uttered fell on deaf ears and even got me insulted and almost rough handled and before i could say jack Robinson one of took my keys from my driver claiming to want to repark it and off he zoomed with no info or notice of where he was taking it to. The insult i got from his colleagues who eventually told me to come to court by 2pm at the task force office at bolade oshodi is unimaginable and all for what, bribery and nothing more. Once the bosses need money, they send their attack dogs to go out onto the streets and arrest any car that revs. Bloody unemphatic monsters.

Thank you Ruffyfire. Now this only buttresses the need for a working system, without which I dare say, every single human being with no exception will bow to pressure and flaunt the law. Imagine that you've been stuck in that senseless, chaotic Lagos traffic for hours, you are running late for an important appointment, and there is an open bus lane with no traffic. Non bus vehicles have been using the lane with no consequence and all you are now concerned about is how to get to your destination. How long do you think you can remain steadfast in keeping the law in that scenario? Nigeria is already a lawless society and choosing to be lawful in all situations may even work against your basic rights. We need a working system, so that citizens won't be under constant pressure to break the laws of the land.

Amazing! On top of brilliance, intellect, knowledge, and concise articulation, the gentleman has humility. I see nothing but greatness in his future.
Police are weird, 5,000 people may be committing a traffic violation, and they will just pick one person out for arrest. It has happened to me many times, and I know how maddening that can make one. The only thing is when you are a star, especially one who calls out the perversity of the day, you can't afford such little mistakes. The detractors you call out everyday will seize the opportunity to cast aspersions on your general character and seek to bury your entire testimony on account of that little issue. But on Rufai, God no go gree dem.
It is well with you bro, thank you for displaying such humility, keep on dishing your brilliant analysis, it's like daily food for many of us. Nothing do you. WE MOVE!
