Major Sam Winkler, along with a team of fellow soldiers, fought and won the most significant changes to military family policy in the U.S. Army in a generation. Major Winkler shares how stumbling on a Facebook group called "The Army Mom Life" led her to fight for change when it comes to family leave, family care and much more. Major Winkler connects with Staff Sergeant Carrie Vargas in person for the first time, a fellow Army mom who fought alongside her in creating new policy for all Army parents.
