Lisa, your daughter looks more and more like you! She's so telanted and it must be a great feeling knowing that you can now deligate your homemaking to your girls. ...Good job on your training them, You must be so proud of them.😊
The home making skills that you are teaching your daughter and the rest of the children are amazing! Absolutely beautiful to see a mom and a dad who cares about their family! Training them to work, to have a skill and learning health and nutrition. I love how you work with your children. God Bless!
OMG!!! I love how you refreshed the bathrooms without major changes. Those changes made a whole new look while honoring what was already there. The way you paid tribute to the previous owner to include the towel rack left by them. So touching. The floor change was essential for upkeep in a busy household. I love that your daughter knows how to sew too. My mother taught me to sew as well. That skill was so valuable in decorating my homes over the years. I fall in love every time I walk in a fabric store. ❤️🥰
Oh Lisa, your kitchen window looks like something from a fairytale with the autumn leaves and the bright light. What a beautiful place to be. Remember to appreciate your surroundings and take a look through that window at least once a day. WOW!! I'd bring my coffee to that corner every day!
I love the simplicity of this home! Extremely Cozy! So nice you and your daughter have this chance to work together and she’ll never forget everything her mom has taught her! Love it!💜
Lisa what a beautiful oasis you created, the bathroom turned into a very calming, relaxing place to unwind and just be for a minute or two!!! You have all turned this house into a cozy home,so inspiring!!! Sending you all warm hugs from Sweden💟🕯✝♾
My paternal grandma sewed all of her own square dance dresses and made a few dresses and dance costumes for me. My maternal grandma made all of her own 1940s style dresses and she was a quilter well into her 80s (my aunt would thread a tray full of needles each morning so that grandma could keep quilting when her eyesight became poor). I so wish that I had sat down with them both to learn. I never got past cross-stitching and candle wicking. I bought a simple sewing machine a few years ago and couldn't follow directions to thread the machine. LOL. So I boxed it up and took it back to the store. All this to say that I adore that you have taken the time to teach your children to sew. It is a true gift for them to be able to make something beautiful and practical with their own hands. Well done!
I love how you decorate your home in a way that is sympathetic to the house’s style. The bathrooms look wonderful!! Your boys are brave to do a polar plunge!! 🥶 🌊
The updates on both bathrooms are beautiful.....and taking out the carpeting......is great.......I guess a bathroom is one room I would not have carpeting....other than just a scatter rug...by the tub or sink......your new home looks lovely!!!❤
I love the brown bathroom! Brown has been a favorite of mine for decades, I’m glad it’s back i style for home decor, it’s such a comforting, cozy color. You’re really putting your beautiful, homey touch on this house, just like you did your farmhouse. I love it! Thank Ruthie for being willing to show us her sewing talent, I know it’s not her favorite thing to be on camera. She’s growing into a lovely young woman, I’m sure you’re so pleased and proud of her.
I want to move where it’s cold most of the time, real winters. We have snow today in GA, I enjoy it and I’m grateful to God , I got it all cozy and warm. I don’t have anyone with me except my Yorkie Girl, I’m a widow living alone and I enjoy everyday peace and tranquility. I do miss my family, my daughter and my grandsons tough. 😊 Gentle hugs and blessings to you’re precious family
Beautiful job Lisa! Love how you make simple changes, adding minimal details, and change a space into something so warm and cozy, yet full of design character! You are soooo good, and my homemaker hero! Love the kids getting outside, so good for them. I’m terribly excited about the new build. 😊❤
Oh my gosh, Lisa, I am so with you on the decanting bought-in products!!! I even do it in my kitchen with things like rice, shelled nuts, cocoa, milk powder, etc. It also helps keep things fresher, and protected from rodents and bugs (farmer here lol). My husband recently joined a company based in St. Louis, so my ears pricked up about the fabric by the pound place! I'm full time here on our homestead, and can't always get away to travel when he goes out to Missouri, but when I go....(I'll be looking for City Sewing Room lol) BIG HUGS!!
Wow all the cozy winter vibes ❤ Oh to have an amazing family like yours is a wish upon a star for me 😊 to provide, care and nuture family just like you do ❤ Your daughter is really talented and you are amazing Lisa
Wow you are doing really well in your new home, live the bathroom transformation very nice! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos! Happy new year to you all🎉❤❤❤
Clover makes a bias tape maker that works on non bias tape as well. Also I've seen where you can use a sewing gauge as a Chanel to guide your strips through while pressing. It makes it go smoothly with less effort. Your design aesthetic is so beautiful and calming. The perfect place for family.😊
Really great idea to just add browns to a white bathroom. I don't have a problem, per se, with decanting, but I don't like glass jars in the bathroom. If you drop them with wet hands, what a mess especially with little kids. Love this house and how you've made it a home. 😊 PS: I bought those candles because you had them in another video. 😊
So nice to see your daughter learning to sew One thing she should know is that a rotary cutter is meant to be used along the edge of the plastic ruler as a guide. Of course keeping both hands safely away from the blade.
The bathrooms look amazing! Love the apothecary jars, etc. Your daughter did such a beautiful job making the curtains! They came out so nice! I have a green and white beadboard bathroom as well. Your home is just lovely and you just have so much talent! ❤
I love the jars and bottles in the bathroom. I say who cares what others say. I do what I like and what makes me happy and joyful in my home. Some take things to the max just for clicks but I guess I’m just at a point I don’t care what others think overall. 😊. I’m the one that has to live in it.
Hello, those lamps in the hall on the table are beautiful!! Nice white shades look awesome. Nice bathroom! I love sewing curtains, aprons, and my clothes. I can highly recommend Janome sewing machines. I have the mechanical sewist 500 which is equivalent to today’s sewist 721. Very easy to learn and a pleasure to use!
Curtains always make a room more personal and dressed. Your daughter did an awesome job ! The house is very cozy and beautiful. I loved seeing the outside spaces some as well. I would love to see the outside of the house as well. I know it must have great curb appeal for you to say “if that house was to be for sale “ you would buy it. Thanks for sharing as always.
Love how you made your new house a home. I'm definitely on board with the apothecary jars. I have some in my kitchen. Decanting can be a chore but it looks pretty.
Just a suggestion, I would swag the curtains, pinning the tops togetuer then spread them open so you can still see everything, I wish you could see it in my mind, lol
I’m looking forward to doing some sewing projects over the next couple of months. I deliberately waited for winter. I’m in Ofallon MO so I will definitely take a trip to City sewing. Thanks!
Your daughter did an amazing job. You should be so proud.❤ That house is absolutely gorgeous. I really hate that you have to leave it… 😢 But I know that you’re having a beautiful house built BUT man alive, I wish I could have or find one just like that Victorian house here where I live… it is perfect.!!!❤❤❤
Me encantan las casas victorianas los muebles como están decoradas cuidada que es un privilegio vivir en ella es muy grande pero merece mucho la pena disfrutarla son muy acogedoras ❤️❤️
Candles from Amazon. She might have a link somewhere. I bought them at Christmas, they're great. Edit: I thought you meant the flameless tapers in the bathroom lol. Those are from Amazon.
I love what you did in the bathroom. Question: I notice that the bathroom curtains in the cabinets are longer than the cabinets. What is your reasoning behind this? I would think they would be hemmed to be just inside the cabinet frame especially since they are hung inside the frame. Thanks for sharing your journey always. 💕
Lisa, your daughter looks more and more like you! She's so telanted and it must be a great feeling knowing that you can now deligate your homemaking to your girls. ...Good job on your training them, You must be so proud of them.😊
Your daughter done an amazing job, everything looks so nice. ❤
Awesome ❤, you both are beautiful
The home making skills that you are teaching your daughter and the rest of the children are amazing! Absolutely beautiful to see a mom and a dad who cares about their family! Training them to work, to have a skill and learning health and nutrition. I love how you work with your children. God Bless!

This house is ABSOLUTLY STUNNING!!!!!! What a great find for you guys!!
I’m 65 and have been sewing since I was 5. It’s wonderful to see a pillow or clothing , etc. and think I can make those so much cheaper!
My mom taught me to sew. I was lousy at it. But became very good over the years. Such a great skill! Never give up!😊
Im almost looking for an excuse to move to Missouri so i can move in Here when you go to your new house! LOL!
The curtains your daughter made are beautiful!
You have such a humble and beautiful soul as you share your homemaking life.
Thank you for the sweet words!
Your daughter did such a good job of pattern matching those brown plaid curtains. That little iron is so neat, I love it. (Sewing nerd here.)
Lovely! Your daughter did such a beautiful job and Yes, simple and simplistic with great bones…. Your home is perfect!
I love the simplicity of this home! Extremely Cozy! So nice you and your daughter have this chance to work together and she’ll never forget everything her mom has taught her! Love it!💜

Absolutely loved this video. All the things I love doing. Making things better with just a few dollars and some time. You nailed it!!!
This Victorian is full of charm

Thank you! 😊
Love this❤. Everything turned out so well, and your daughter did such a great job❤

Oh my gosh yes the random screws and hardware. We had the same thing in our 1917 farmhouse. Took forever to get them unscrewed. 😂
Your style is simple, elegant, and cozy, great work ladies you've done it again! 😃

Little touches can add a lot!!The white tile in your bathroom makes a huge difference!!! The rolls looked delicious.

Wow such an amazing talented young lady. Nice job ❤
I love your decorating style!
I loveddd the apothecary jars! some times things don't always need to be the most practical if it is beautiful and brings you joy
Looks beautiful and so cozy❤
I love decanting, and I love the apothecary jars. Why/who are against that?
I absolutely adore how that bathroom turned out!
Love how you made your new house a home. I'm definitely on board with the apothecary jars. I have some in my kitchen. Decanting can be a chore but it looks pretty.

13:22 whew! That was a test of patience on your daughter’s part folding and ironing all those tabs.
Me encantan las casas victorianas los muebles como están decoradas cuidada que es un privilegio vivir en ella es muy grande pero merece mucho la pena disfrutarla son muy acogedoras ❤️❤️
I feel like the art in that entryway would look even better hung slightly lower
Love the bathroom 😮
I made sourdough blueberry pancakes this morning. ❤
Nothing turned out, just gorgeous!!
Love how you decorate, the house is beautiful, i think I would not have put curtains on the shelf in the bathroom.??
Love this! ❤
Where can we find those candles?! Love the way you brought out the browns, great idea!
Candles from Amazon. She might have a link somewhere. I bought them at Christmas, they're great.
Edit: I thought you meant the flameless tapers in the bathroom lol. Those are from Amazon.
