@@BaldManMotors absolutely! I love it! It has got me obsessed with AMGs. Hopefully I can get an m113k next. Your videos are very entertaining and informative for us AMG people. Keep it up!
As a happy C55 owner, i all ready answered that question. I chose the C55 for its general look, outside and inside, the smoothness of the V8, the rarety and the story of the car (it's fun to know that AMG decided to put the V8 under the hood when Mercedes told them it was not possible to do it). Now, if you don't intend to keep it stock, go for C32 ! Hello from France 👋
I love my 03 C32. and other then a sc pulley bearing replacement ( which wasn't that hard ), it has been bullet proof in the three plus years I have owned it.
Ditto. I have had my 2003 C32 now for over 16 years and even after putting 130k miles on it (19k when I acquired it from the 1st owner) and many track days, everything works perfectly! Everything. In fact, very little signs of wear and still in nearly-new condition. As you said, it has been absolutely "bulletproof".
I own a 2002 c32 for over 7 years now with 118k miles and if I take apart my fault to keep some excellent maintenance and only a very good maintenance I have to say that c32 I love it because is w203 body with a beast underneath and love as well the small body for city driving,no mods only stock,I thinking to do some lifting but I respect the car to much to do something to it until now Thank you for your videos
Currently own a 2003 C32 AMG bolt on mods and tuned. Previously ran nitrous but it got scary so it had to go. I have owned quite a few AMGs but the w220 S65 and the CLS 55 are prolly my favorites. Awesome content keep up the good work👍
New subscriber love your channel. Wish I would’ve found your channel earlier, I looked in a long time to finally find & purchase my dream car 2005 SL 55, AMG mocha espresso, designo package, my opinion is the M113k is one of the best engines ever made,?, Bullet proof, and all the AMG vehicles with the M 113k truly, the best bang for the buck, as a retired mechanic a pleasure to work on.
The c32 suspension is much more comfortable than the c55. The c55 lapped Nurburgring 21 seconds quicker than the c32 Amg with similar power. The main difference is the handling. I've changed my c32 suspension for c55 suspension. Car feels a lot more like a bmw now. Actually handles.
I have a SLK32 and a C55 (so not really a C32, but same engine).... so far, SLK32 is a LOT MORE reliable... C55 is a lot smoother to drive, but the 32 engine has a more "brutal" delivery...
You're saying that the C55 isnt super reliable? Just curious because my dream car is a C55 and I kind of want to know what i would potentially be getting myself into.
It's leaking a lot.... so it cost to fix all those... problem I got over 10 years: Crank Sensor, Alarm died, Leaks and more leaks, ballast for lights, water pump, but other than that, all good... I would recommend to get a well maintained one...@@MattR32
@@BaldManMotors Yeah it has been a blast of a car, even in stock form. Have some plans to go big on it later this year on my channel. The E55's are sweet too, I liked the feel of the newer E a bit more so I went with the BiTurbo E550, been really happy with it.
Bald Man, I have a convertible mustang GT, I plan to mod for autocross and maybe throw a S/C on, and a reliable Lexus LS, for a daily I park the convertible for the winter, the C32 appeals to me a bit more as it could be my inbetween car that maybe I take out during the warmer days in the winter and toy around with maybe throwing a pulley or a few other bolt-ons to make the C32 a little more aggressive? Yes I know I don't need another car.

Have you ever had a problem with the secondary air intake pump? I keep getting the engine light coming on and it is only supposed to be for start-up to blow into the cats. I can’t remember the exact code but I think it is P0140 or something like that. C32

But Mercedes was right though. They had to modify the chassis to fit the v8. Same front end from the clk55

You can code it out with DAS
So basically i should just go for the E55 s/w211 right away?
How about the w202 C43
C32 AMG can do over 180mph
Where can I get that grill for the c55, and will that same grill fit in On a c230?
C32 or z3? If same price
Z3 if it's just for driving pleasure. C32 is faster and the more "practical" car.
