Are we sure these are character theme and not just sounds they use for anything and everything, “choppers theme” played for every character in those ad breaks????
@Jackinov45 They're character themes. Clips of these used to play during the ad breaks when pre-timeskip episodes aired (with the exception of Jinbei). You rarely hear most of these in relation to the characters in newer episodes. Only Zoro's, Sanji's, and Franky's really play in their character moments. Luffy's and Chopper's are more used for general world building/location introduction and Nami's, Robin's, Usopp's, and Brook's barely play at all. It's a shame, really. All the themes are good, and I miss them a lot (especially Nami's)
Luffy's theme sounds like a royal fanfare, Zoro's sounds like an encounter tune in a video role-playing game, Nami's sounds like a lullaby, Usopp's sounds like a military command for attention, Sanji's sounds like romantic restaurant music, Chopper's sounds like whistling, Robin's sounds like seductive burlesque jazz, Franky's sounds like an introductory tune for a celebrity on a talk show, Brook's sounds like spooky haunted house music, and Jinbe's sounds like a western theme!

Nami's theme definitely reminds me of Super Mario 64 for some reason. The ice levels. And Usopp's is very Super Mario Galaxy, or the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.
