Thanks. Would be great if your video included an explanation why this is superior to the single hitch, and what you might use this knot for.

      Great suggestion!

Agreed. My top suggestions for all these knot channels. 1) Name the knot (helps me remember it; thirty nameless knots are hard to keep track of) 2) Explain what the knot is for, give its most common use; 3) Explain for what types of rope the knot is safe (some knots should not be tied in some types of rope); 4) Tell why this knot is better or worse than other knots for the job; 5) After you've shown how to tie it, show the knot in a practical, real-life application.
Example: "This is a reef or square knot. It was originally used for "reefing" or tying up sails on square-rigged ships. It is used for joining two cords of roughly equal diameter because it can be tied under moderate tension, won't slip, and is usually easily untied by tugging sharply on the ends of one rope, like this]. Because of its sharp bends, the square knot is not used for thick ropes (see Carrick Bend), nor is it safe in slick artificial fibres such as polypropylene or braided kern-mantle cords (see Water Knot). Its most common use is as a "slippery reef" for tying shoelaces, as shown here. [I'm not sure this is all accurate, I'm just writing an example]
I know that these will increase your work in making a video but IMO this knowledge -- choosing the right knot for a given type of rope and situation -- is every bit as important as knowing HOW to tie the knot.

Классно! Очень простой и красивый узел. Многие делают петлю один раз и не задумываются, что можно повторить, сколько хочешь!

I hate tattoos, but if I ever had to do one, I would have a knot drawn. I love it

Why is this better than one hitch? Or two? What do you use this for? Just tying the knot is only half the story.

Single hitch can move, single hitch is the most fragile.

Knott sure why this is better that just the hitch, possible because the friction keeps it from cinching as tight? That doesn't seem likely. you might argue that all those wraps make it weaker It looks cooler though.

    What's its name?
What do I need this for?
What do you need this for?
    What's the use?
What would be a contemporary useful application?
What are the pros, what the cons?
What to do with the two loose parts?
Except for the knot's nice appearence, this video is completely useless and a waste of time, sorry.
