Helicopter Aerial Application near Shabbona, Illinois on 7-24-2013

An aerial application helicopter flown by Ron Korth of Hendrickson Flying Service applies a fungicide and herbicide mix to a corn field north of Shabbona, Illinois. The pilot guides the aircraft around the giant pylons supporting the wind turbines in the area.
Ricky, was the busy loader of the helicopter. Also responsible for the correct mixing of the herbicide and fungicide, recording the amount loaded and driving the mobile landing platform to the next spot suitable for the day's helicopter ag operations. Little time was wasted by this two man team.
The helicopter, a OH-13E/M74, was manufactured by Texas Helicopter.

I used to watch them do this by my house when I was a kid. It got me into flying myself. Dangerous work... You can't let your guard down for a second.

Love the Bell 47. This one dont have the flybar up there on the main rotor head. Would love to have seen this video from the helicopters perspective. Please dont ever crash into them windmills. Fly safe
