All Great Tips!!! I have the worst habit of holding my breath thinking it will help with my stability. Silly me! I’ve have improved on being more conscious of my breath. Can’t wait to advance my practice with you!
Watched this again today… goodness I love all your visual helps with your explanations and WHYS. ❤️👍❤️ things I think about every time I teach or take a class.
Thank you for the tips! One of my favorite poses and also one of my most frustrating depending on what is happening in my body. I always feel so much better when my knee is above waist level and thought I had to work on getting that parallel alignment.
Hi Jimmy! I have a hard time staying balanced after bringing my head to knee. These tips really helped, especially the hand grip below the ball of the foot. So, when I extend the leg forward for this pose, my arm reach is long so they are already bent around the knee. Thanks, Sarah (Zura Training)
Thanks Jimmy, you helped me a lot when you were at Zura last year in getting my knee up a bit higher than parallel which definitely helped my lower back. This pose is still my nemesis lol and can't wait to apply your tips for phase two and three under your watchful eye soon!
awesome!! thanks for the breakdown and thorough explanation, the differences form BK (as you said some of it is wording) and the shift in primary thought. the other difference from BK , that you have mentioned previously, is the straight spine at beginning then rounding spine vs. your approach of rounding the spine form the beginning. what about engaging core to round back? Elena has perfected this pose. Bravo. Thank you to both of you.
Hey Jim, I could use the length in my arms in Standing Head to Knee by not interlacing thumb. I also want to not interlace thumbs in Half Moon so I can work palms together. P.S. I would love to have met Johnny Weissmuller. Nobody ever could mimic his Tarzan yell.

Big difference!! Thank you Nina! 💜💜
I have an issue keeping my right leg straight in this pose. Thank you for the advice on engaging the quadricep. i will try it in class tomorrow.
That’s key… also don’t try too hard… too much energy creates tension … you’re probably strong enough … relax more 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you always for the great tips! And practice, practice, practice!
Thank you Martha!!!! 🙏💜🙏
