I joined wipro in June 2018 as a fresher in Bangalore and in my joining date it was written that your training and job location will be same. Just before completion of training project they changed the location to bhubaneswar and team was being pressurised to join there . As I said the quality of work and projects are very bad as it comes by luck. Most of the project are of support for client's and there we're very less carrer oriented growth options. Senior management is used to treat fresher's just like labour to do so as they're said to. No responsibility from management as if you want to change your job location there's famous dialogue came as It all depends upon business requirements and we can't do much of anything to help you as it comes from higher authority. At last I will say that choice is yours if you want to stuck on for long period or join small MNC and get better knowledge and skills to improve yourself.
From my personal experience, I have experienced the same. There is no career growth and neither will get you the location of your preference. There is no good salary hike. 90% of projects are support projects. Freshers are treated badly. So it's a big no-no to join Wipro as a fresher. It is better to join small companies, start-ups, or small MNCs.

As an ex employee I would say Wipro is a mixed place. The CEO is having tough time in managing firm. It's in a Transition. They don't know how to manage promotions and most of times worthy employees don't get one. If I were you I would look for technology that I am getting to learn and contribute rather than money. All service based will rub technology on your face and will not give you choice of having your desired one. Make sure you fight for good one else move-in to a place where you can grow.

U didn't even mentioned the opportunity which Wipro provides in terms of learning and development ,they have excellent training programs to upskill conducted throughout the calendar year and even provide free access to the best of industrial courses on platform like Udemy, if you want to learn and keep exploring Wipro is the best , it's all depends on the individual who is willing to do . I have been with Wipro since 4 years worked across three different locations , business domain and technologies and now upskilling on ai and machine learning through the courses offered by Wipro . I have worked 5 yrs in Infosys. Yes the training is very tough but if you are very good technically in programming you can get 4.5cgpa or avobe. I survived the training and then got functional project with no technical knowledge requirements. But. Now I am in etl and reporting in Accenture.
Infosys you can learn many things...with that stuffs u can swap another company easily bocoz Infosys certificate that you r getting after the training is valid in all companies.....

NIT trichy comes under Star hires and hence 11 lpa... you can get support projects mostly and is based on luck. Go for some other option if you have ... your learning curve and salary growth is not good here
After trump has been selected, wipro has changed there policy towards maximum localization in US. So the chances are reduced in US but incase you have some niche skills you have a good chance.

Wipro (Software Giant) is the worst and most inhumanitarian company. This is my personal experience as a victim of harassment in Wipro: Wipro is the worst company that harasses its own employees. Wipro provides corporate security services to other companies. This is a major business in Wipro. In this business, Wipro harasses its employees (mostly software engineers) whose previous company has raised a complaint against them. So these people are essentially tricked into joining Wipro by means of higher package or some other benefits in order to bait them into joining Wipro. Once they are inside Wipro, Wipro's management harasses them and instructs their juniors too to harass them by passing threatening and insulting comments on them on everyday basis, at times for several hours, even stalking inside the campus, continuing to pass insults and threats wherever the victim goes. In extreme cases, Wipro's corporate security team starts stalking their victim outside the company campus, in public places too, while passing intimidating comments and threats. This all is done to intimidate the victim and make them docile. At the same time the company which has made the complaint (the previous company) starts extending an olive branch towards the victim after a few months, by showing friendly gestures, colleagues of previous company might give a phone call to victim, telling them that the company has vacany and they may join back. On the other hand, Wipro keeps harassing the victim until the victim quits. If the victim makes a written complaint against harassment with Wipro or previous company, Wipro might harass the victim further. Ideally, Wipro wants the victim to join the previous company back after being punished for a few months (six to seven months). And this service is not free. Wipro provides annual subscriptions of this service to other companies. **So essentially, Wipro makes profit out of harassing people.** So in Wipro either you are harassed or you harass other people. There is no other way. Wipro's corporate security team will keep giving you mock drills, training you to harass other people. Imagine a low paying company which also expects you to make enemies by harassing other people. If years later, these people try to take revenge on you, will Wipro provide the protection.

I got 11 lpa package-Project Engineer. I'm from NIT Trichy. What role will I get in that. I'm from metallurgical background and a fresher.
NIT trichy comes under Star hires and hence 11 lpa... you can get support projects mostly and is based on luck. Go for some other option if you have ... your learning curve and salary growth is not good here

After trump has been selected, wipro has changed there policy towards maximum localization in US. So the chances are reduced in US but incase you have some niche skills you have a good chance.

Wipro (Software Giant) is the worst and most inhumanitarian company.
This is my personal experience as a victim of harassment in Wipro:
Wipro is the worst company that harasses its own employees.
Wipro provides corporate security services to other companies. This is a major business in Wipro.
In this business, Wipro harasses its employees (mostly software engineers) whose previous company has raised a complaint against them. So these people are essentially tricked into joining Wipro by means of higher package or some other benefits in order to bait them into joining Wipro. Once they are inside Wipro, Wipro's management harasses them and instructs their juniors too to harass them by passing threatening and insulting comments on them on everyday basis, at times for several hours, even stalking inside the campus, continuing to pass insults and threats wherever the victim goes. In extreme cases, Wipro's corporate security team starts stalking their victim outside the company campus, in public places too, while passing intimidating comments and threats. This all is done to intimidate the victim and make them docile. At the same time the company which has made the complaint (the previous company) starts extending an olive branch towards the victim after a few months, by showing friendly gestures, colleagues of previous company might give a phone call to victim, telling them that the company has vacany and they may join back. On the other hand, Wipro keeps harassing the victim until the victim quits. If the victim makes a written complaint against harassment with Wipro or previous company, Wipro might harass the victim further. Ideally, Wipro wants the victim to join the previous company back after being punished for a few months (six to seven months). And this service is not free. Wipro provides annual subscriptions of this service to other companies. **So essentially, Wipro makes profit out of harassing people.**
So in Wipro either you are harassed or you harass other people. There is no other way. Wipro's corporate security team will keep giving you mock drills, training you to harass other people.
Imagine a low paying company which also expects you to make enemies by harassing other people. If years later, these people try to take revenge on you, will Wipro provide the protection.
Wipro company employee ko apna 24 hours kam karne ki machine samjhata hai but uske hisab se employees को kuch fayda hai की nahi ye dekhti hai khali apna fayda sochati hai jo kam karnevale hai unka kuch bhi ho but fayda compny ka ho employees ko na achhi sallery nahi achhi treatment nahi employees ke sath achha behaviour nahi uper se burden dala jata hai iska matlab yahi hota hai ki ye wiprovale inko kutte ki tarah treat karte hai agar kuch bola to uskee hi galti nikalte hai jo asal Mein वहां होता ही नहीं उसके उपर डेबिट करते है इसका एक ही मतलब है कंपनी के पास अच्छा Management nahi hai unki to haisiyat hi nahi aap join krne से pahle soch lo aisa होगा aapke Saath
