In this video we will give our First Impressions of Lapland Finland. Like others, we will hope to see the northern lights. In this Finland Travel Vlog, we will show you the highlights of the 10 days we have in Rovaniemi, so we HAVE to see them, right? We will also spend the day at Angry Birds Park. (Angry Birds began as a video game and was developed by Finnish video game developer Rovio Entertainment. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for iOS and Maemo devices starting in December 2009). While there we will try the obstacle course, do some sledding, and may even build a snow man. We have not seen any other UA-camrs visit this park, so let's go see what it's like...

Heyyyy guys!!!!Finland in winter!! How fun!!! We wanted to see the northern lights in Iceland when we visited two years ago, but we weren’t so lucky either!! It was December. Not sure if the month matters? That adventure park looks so fun!!! What a way to let out your inner child!! 😂😂😂🙌🙌🙌🙌 The girls love those zipline things in Europe! And mom and dad hop on too of course 😂🙌 Yess I wanna build a snow man!! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️⛄️⛄️⛄️ Will has traveled the world but never built a snow man????? The snow has to be just right to build it! Actually if it’s a little bit melty it sticks perfect. Just like the northern lights, the conditions have to be just right! Awww cutest wity snowman ever 😂😂😂 That’s actually great!! So fun guys!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ What could possibly be next?????
Yea, I don't know what happened. We could have been more north, but people see them there all the time. We should have been supervised on those sleds, but we had a good time. Will only started seeing snow since we've been traveling! Thanks for the tip on building a snowman. We definitely need more practice! Merry Christmas friends!!!
This park looked so fun!! So sad you guys didn't get to see the lights. I guess we will all just have to go to Canada to see them ;)

Catching the northern lights is such a thrill. I'm hoping we can catch them again in Norway in Feb. Angry Bird park looks so fun. I haven't built a snowman in forever.

Wow, stunning opening drone footage and you’re ace’ing the sledging!! That location looks stunning!! We would love to go somewhere like that. Rach has seen the northern lights a few times when working on a cruise ship, I can only dream of seeing them. Gutted for you that you didn’t see them. The Angry Bird park looks fun, we’d be playing in there too. Ah, we love sledging, thought you were gonna hit those boards then 😂. The swing looks fun Will!! Shame the catapult wasn’t a working one haha. You have never built a snowman????!!!! No way!!!!! Sort it out!!!! That’s rubbish guys, you need to start with a small snowball and roll it!!! ⛄️⛄️ The snow woman was good effort and she looks cute but man, you have a lot to learn in snow man making!!! 😂. Have you ever watched the animated Raymond Briggs film, The Snowman? It’s magical and was directed by a friend’s late mum. He (our friend) appears in the animation as one of the children looking out of the window, you must watch it!! Loved this video both. Finland looks amazing x

Now that's one funny Angry birds with Will at the front thumbnail!!!! 🤣👍 It's great to do all those kid things we used to do as adults at a park and no adults yakking at us or giving us an Angry Bird look. My brother Dennis and I got to build snow men in South carolina up north were we lived as kids because we got snow there. We would get a small snow ball and compact it well and then start rolling it so it would pack on more snow. That was just a girly snow gal. 🤣🤣

Hope next time you're lucky to see the Northern Lights, that's quite a thing! It took me a while as well, I tried in Iceland many years ago around November, no luck... only a few years ago I captured it in Kiruna, Sweden in December! Also never heard of Angry Birds Park, now I know haha
Next time we may have to do a guided tour to do a proper Northern Lights chase. Glad you finally saw them. Angry birds are super popular in the USA.
Wicked drone shots to start off the video! What a shame you didn't get to see the northern lights, especially as you were there for 10 days - that's pretty unlucky! I had a trip planned to northern Norway in March 2020 but the flight got cancelled and Norway locked down 5 days before I was set to go due to the pandemic - I was planning to hunt for the lights. It's coming up to 4 years ago and I still haven't gotten around to rescheduling that trip! On the rare occasions it snows in England my technique has always been to roll a snowman until it gets so heavy it can be rolled no more. Then add as much snow as possible to bulk it out before placed the head on top. Not sure if I'm right but that's what I've always done!
Thanks! We Didn't have to worry about flying over anyone or being in crowded areas when we were out in the Finnish wilderness! We could have taken a trip over to Sweden or gone on an all night organized hunt, but to us, that defeats the specialty. Thanks for the tip on building a snowman. We definitely need more practice! The temperature needs to be around 0 degrees celsius for snow to be damp enough for making snowmans/castles etc. :). But yours was adorable!

that snow is way too dry to make even a snowball, let alone a snowman and there is way too little snow in the ground.

You guys are better than me the first time I went sledding I was 28. Tiffany an her cousins brought me to a park with a hill on it, I was over double the age of the next person sledding there lol, FLORIDANS become obvious when snow is around lol😂😂😂😂
