For me, this must be the best video on youtube for clear instructions on removing the cylinder head. I hope to remove the head on my B-275 at some point this year. Thank you. So looking forward to part 2 and any other maintenance on the B-275.
Thats the best thing of working on old tractors...its easy to get to the engine, instead of being bent over bleeding wings and grills... and hitting your head on the bonnet, many a time ive ground valves in on bmc engines with a stick with two rubber suckers on it 😅, thanks Casterton,
I'm not sure when the next part will appear on here because I've got a lot of other tractor related video from a trip to New Zealand to show first. Hopefully you will enjoy that too.

@Casterton-Vintage that's OK, appreciate all your uploads to be honest, but did enjoy the process of stripping down and taking the head off and valves out
Envious of that beautiful Ransomes mst 56 trailed combine . My father had one many years ago but sadly it has long gone. Would love to get hold of another one . Super video again . Nice B275 . Thanks 👍
Great video always enjoy a workshop video 👍 strangely the international engines ive done were all the BD144 from the 250s but very very similar in my opinion a great engine 👌
Brian, this is what I love about your channel, you do what is required to get "things" working yourself! Sending the head for recon is standard procedure even for dealers when I worked there. Those guys do what is required without thinking. It's all muscle memory for them, also they have done it a few thousand times before. Was that loose r/cover bolt at the front out of curiosity? As soon as you turned the head over alarm bells were ringing in my head, that was a very unusual swirl mark on head. Like the injector was blocked or something. You know what you found, I wasn't there so have to speculate out of curiosity. Thanks for what you do, I must say, I love listening to you, very calming! From rural W. Berks.
Glad you enjoyed the video. The loose bolt was at the front. Is that common?? The injectors were worn out. If I remember I will show that in the next workshop video. I bet she runs better in the future!
Brian, Spalding Fasteners (in Lincoln) carry imperial stuff. Easy to use website and quick order turn round, their post and packing charges are fair as well. They have a good range of stainless as well. Graham.

Glad it helped. Not sure when part two will come out but I'll get too it as soon as I can.
Well done, you are a man of many talents😅. Your video brought back many memories. I hated grinding in the valves 😢.
Thanks.

Have you already come down to NZ?
@@chrishughes8011 Yes, I'm on the south island.
It's very hard to do any work in a shed this time of the year when the temps are so low! Great vid as always
Thanks 👍. It is a bit cold but too many jobs waiting to sit still 🤣
Fantastic video
Thank you for sharing it, and all the procedures to follow
Look forward to the next progress update

Great video, it's nice to have machine tools to call on when needed 😀
It is very nice to have the things you need and I enjoy playing with them.

Graham.
Thanks Graham. That info might come in useful.
Could you fix a bracket for the radiator off the fan cowl instead of hose outlet on the radiator?
A bracket from the cowl might be better. I'll see what I come up with after I get the rad back on.
