I was riding that trail 20 years ago on a hard tail with a POS Rock Shox Judy fork. Think it had 2" of travel, maybe 3. Much better on on my Specialized with 5" front and back these days. Nice vid though man, like a previous poster said, pretty aggresive riding for your first time down
@xWaterpoloplayax It's a bit more challenging and dangerous with a cross country bike, but if you're a thrill seeker, none of that matters. The epic is fine, but just don't go so fast that you can't stop yourself. :)
i rode this today for the first time, went over the handlebars just like you did, pretty crazy trail, its probably 10 times harder and more intense than rock-it. so you were saying a cross country biker shouldnt do it? i have a specialized epic comp carbon, was that a wise choice to take that down the hill? because everybody keeps telling me my bike is more for cross country
You're not bad at all. It'd be close to my limit to ride that fast, and that's considering it all looks flat through your cam. In reality, not even close to being that fast. Oh ya, I got a 4" XC bike. :D
Yeah, nice videos. Does a very good job of illustrating the trails, best out of the ones I've seen. Glad you didn't get hurt bad on that crash.
Great video U the man!!!!!!!!!!! Great bike skills!!!!!!!!! Like the narration
i like that you commentate the trail, keep it up!
Looks awesome gonna do it soon as possible

Nice vid. But hey, I used to hit that trail on my 4inch travel bike.
@4XFOURLIFE Thanks, and yah they are nevagals. If you are into DH, you should get the excavators.
@MTBRIDA615 I used the one with the many hinges. It comes with the camera! Just have to figure it out!
Nice
im thinking of getting the gopro helmet hero. Which mount did you use in this video? also did the mount come with the camera?

@MTBIsTheLife you end up at the bottom of Mathis if you keep following the trail
