- I've lost count is this is 4th or even 5th rerun banner at this point? Regardless now is as good a time as any to talk about the Geo Archon himself, Zhongli.

Zhongli's shield also benefit from Xingqxiu's damage reduction, when the two are together, the shield is even shieldier.
It's pretty good to run him on 3x HP% with decent CR, this gives him decent damage and makes him a decent battery when using Fav Lance.
Another benefit is that you can pair Zhongli with Geo Traveler to make geo constructs in the shape of a penis.

The drain geo element description refers to how when you hold Zhongli's skill it destroys things like ore, enemy made geo structures and enemy geo shields.

I got him when he first dropped, but have never built him to his peak. I now have his shield talent to 8 & meteor to 7 he has 47k Hp 🤔I’m sure people have gotten him to much higher Hp but I can certainly tell the difference with his artifacts at 20 and with black tassel 🗿😊👍thanks for the tips

I have him at mix setup. 2x Tenacity and 2x Gladiator with a Geo Dmg Goblet and his at 31k HP. His shield is good enough, since its cd isn't really that long, so just be mindful of your rotation.
Stats are HP / CR / CD focused. His burst still deals 70-80k damage w/o bennette or other boosters out there, just plain burst from him, not even another geo in the team.
He's probably one of the most flexible character to build and play with, and cheap to build as well for F2P.
Edit: Partner him up with a C5-6 Ningguang as main DPS, and you can spam his burst.

Now hear me out but I use vortex vanquisher mainly because it just looks cool and fits his design. I know it's absolutely the worse choice but I only got one soh snd it's on hu tao.

For the tenacity set, does the the elemental skill hit only apply to him? Or does it mean even if my other units hit with their elemental skill, the buff is activated as well?
Only Zhongli's elemental skill!

If you are going for the strongest shield build, is a 4 piece tenacity better than 2 piece 2 piece for 40%hp?
They are about equal as long as you can you keep the buff up on Tenacity, 40% will be more consistent depending on what you are fighting.
4pc tenacity is better since the effects are too good to not utilize. Also having full hp stats throughout the artifcts can already give you 35-40k ish hp minimum and that alone is enough to tank much.
I got him early and now will def triple crown him and maybe go for cons in his next banner, just since I’m an archons main, I pull and 3 crown all the archons.

I only have Diluc as my main DPS. Currently running with Diluc, Kaeya, Sucrose and Bennet. I just played Genshin a week ago. I haven't pulled Yelan last banner and I just pulled Zhongli. What's the best choice for me.
Your first team is fine as is. You can build Zhongli for a secondary team if you want since he's easy to build.
But it seems like you could use another main DPS.
The pillar is called a Steele, pronounced Steel💁♂️....not steelie👀
If you do the press version of his skill while the steele is on field it will re-summon the steele and the original one will disappear
The shield actually reduces 20% all elemental res....including physical

And yes I mention the 20% reduce to all res and physical.

what about Skyward Spine? I dont know where else to use it.
Sure it can be ok, but really the 3star Black Tassel is fine or Favonius Lance.
If nobody else needs the Skyward Spine, Zhongli can use it.
Is burst zhongli worth in C2?
Only if you play co-op A LOT. Like a lot a lot. Otherwise, it doesn't really do much for you in single-player since you can always give yourself a jade shield with skill.
Stay with layla or pull zhongli?
Depends what your goals are. If you want to clear Spiral Abyss and want to have two strong shielders on two different teams you can build both!
In fact, that's what I did in the newest version of Spiral. But if you are only focusing on exploration I would say Layla is good enough!

Yes, as I stated in the video I used to do Burst Support Zhongli because I loved spamming meteors all the time. Still do tbh. That's why my circlet was Crit DMG main stat, lazy to change it since it still has good HP% and ER substats.
Who let bro cook for half an hour for literally one of the easiest characters to build 💀
