Tip of you want to help your vocal cords, don't just start drinking water right before it won't help your vocal cords. Start drinking water the day before go get yourself hydrated and time for it to help your vocal cords. I learned this from my vocal coach
@@missaok8092that's not correct either...8 glasses a day isn't necessary, you only need to drink enough water to replace what you lose in going to the bathroom, sweating, etc. Good rule of thumb is just drink when thirsty or have a glass with your meals when you eat, unless it's something that's not water but mostly water like milk, juice, pop, uncaffeinated tea, etc. But yea lubrication is good.
