The fact that a seal has lore is enough for me 😌

facts...animals are extremely food driven by instinct...everywhere you go in florida and other states with gators you will find signs, and laws forbidding you from feeding gators..every wild animals first instinct is easy food..dont waste energy fighting prey, you avoid prey injuring you while you hunt it, kill it, and eat it ..if you find an easy food source, which is usually human assisted, you lose that natural fear..then you decide to take food from a human hand, and you have the hand...now you're a threat and you're killed.

There used to be a bachelor coyote in Oregon that would ride from his den in Portland to his hunting ground in Gresham on the automated metro trains. He'd get up on the seats and curl up on it like a dog and then get of at his station.

Kabir, please check out Zanesville, Ohio (2011?) when a man's 49 exotic animals got out. Lions, tigers, bears for real. I think you will be gobsmacked! I hope I used the right word!

Don't forget. The Otter is a Mustelid. You know, related to the Honey Badger and the damn Wolverine! I got a trail cam video of one in my creek. No way in hell I'm messing with it.

Feeding them would make them unafraid of us.

Depending on the specific species of seal, which number more than 40 species and subspecies, most of which grow to be about 100 pounds, but 2 particular species of seal the (Southern Elephant seal, and Northern Elephant Seal, slightly smaller and lighter) weighs up to 7,100 pounds, while the Walrus, has only 1 species of it, and a full grown bull walrus weighs about 4,400 pounds, now the largest difference between seals and walruses, is that seals, even the 2 different species of elephant seals DO NOT have tusks, and all walruses do have tusks, the males tusks are longer, and thicker than the females tusks.

I have a soft spot for animals of any kind, and probably enjoy there company more than other people. Even some insect life (even arachnids like Jumping Spiders). But I’m smart enough to know that some creatures are best left alone.
It’s often a problem when wild animals get too comfortable around humans, especially when people make it worse by interacting with them. I do believe we as humans have a responsibility of taking care of the planet we live on and that there are some situations where our intervention is justified (like preserving an endangered species, protecting habitats, or helping animals that can’t survive in the wild on their own), but there are times when human interaction is not the best thing.
My grandma lived in Black Mountain, North Carolina with my uncle, cousins and there parents, (before she passed on Dec. 8th of last year from Dementia and Parkinson’s), and in the neighborhood she lived in there was the unspoken rule of “Do not feed or provoke the bears” and yet, some people that live there still do. Thankful the worst thing to happen to these people were just getting there pantries raided. Bears are very big creatures and can do a lot of damage when fully disturbed.
So if you see a wild animal minding it’s own business, leave it be.

I love "Casual Geographic"! When people do "reactive" videos, they should credit the CREATORS! After all, without the creators work, "reactors" would have nothing to react to!
Just drop a link in the description box.

I googled otters, and they can contract rabies, and can pass it to humans, and pets! 😲

Who’s the guy who makes those videos. He’s hilarious. Kabir used to link to the original videos but I just noticed he doesn’t anymore.

Humans are dangerous. Weapons against animals, for purposes other than getting food, shelter, and clothing, have made humans braver than we actually should be. I can shoot a moving target at distance but taking any of these animals on hand to hand is idiocy.
