  • I went out garage sale picking and came across this red max commercial back pack leaf blower. the owner said a landscaping company left it behind about 6 years ago and knows nothing about its condition. let put it up on the bench and see what happened to it and can it be fixed?

@@shawnrenaud2252 Well said. Even though having the shots won't 100% prevent a COVID infection and symptoms the vaccine will, in the majority of cases, ensure that any infection is far less unpleasant/life threatening/fatal. Vaccines also don't 100% prevent transmission but they certainly help and, of course, the more people who are vaccinated the less chance of transmission. Some vaccines are naturally better than others but it partly depends on the person and various other factors.

It’s good seeing you up and about and doing what you love best again. World is thankful to have you as a role model. You are the best there is no other.✊🏽✌️. Stay up my brotha. Mustie1 was so kind during his terrible illness that he never told us (his parents) that he was sick for over two weeks out of concern for OUR health. He managed to project an "almost" normal tone in his weekly phone call and we hardly noticed that anything was "off". He always had a considerate and giving heart, but this just warmed us from our head to our toes.

Good to see that you guys are recovering from the "big C".
I am a Swede and I stumbled over your channel, like a year ago. My father died a while back and left an old Briggs and Stratton lawnmover that was becoming a part of the landscape scenery behind his old garage. My mother planed to take it to the city dump but thank´s to you and your vids I managed to bring her back to life.
My son call it Connor MacLeod, the machine that can not die and it´s now 47 years old and running.
I think of my dad every time she starts up and for that i am truly grateful.
My friends has left me all kinds of machinery and I got them all to work. The biggest quest I had so far was a really beaten garden tracktor. The owner is a widower with a rigidly operated foot. She cried when i got it for her.
Keep up the good work! You are a true inspiration to a lot of people all over the world!

Meanwhile cases of extremely adverse side effects and death continue coming out...due directly to your miracle jab. Meanwhile the non biased science says the vaccinated are responsible for the variants....annnnd you can still get it and spread it. Natural immunity is Superior. That snake oil is highly accredited all over the world for treating many illnesses in humans.
It's pretty obvious y'all haven't followed the money and did your research on the main characters in this story. How naive.

On a note about the leaf blower: they are excellent for use with any vehicle cleaning, especially steam cleaning. ** That is NOT correct for all blowers! I just worked on a Ryobi BP42 and Ryobi chose to vent some of the engine exhaust into the blower exhaust, so there ARE in fact some of the combustion gases (including oil from the fuel mix) going out the blower nozzle. I believe this is a somewhat new design and I don’t know the reason for it. The blower had only been used a short time so there was no evidence of exhaust gas residue at the nozzle. To be clear, this turned out to NOT be a repair job, simply a determination as to why the owner had a difficult time starting the engine. It was operator error - I could start the engine consistently with 5 presses of the primer bulb, 2 pulls on choke and a third pull choke off. Great machine!

I am so thankful that you and your wife are on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, the treatment advocated by the FLCC did not work for my two brothers. Also unfortunately, they did not get vaccinated which would have most likely prevented any need for the recommended FLCC treatment option. But God Bless you and your wife. As for me I have seen to much suffering and death. I am getting vaccinated. But that is my choice.

Excellent choice indeed. That vaccine will absolutely stop you from dying. It'll almost definitely stop you from being hospitalized. It will very likely prevent you from getting sick at all, but that is still possible and a mild illness can happen occasionally. Not as common as it's made out to be. Vaxxed people who "test positive for covid" are usually entirely asymptomatic or might just have a headache. 🤷🏻‍♂️ You made the right choice. I've got Moderna on board here myself. 😎

I had a whole essay written up about scientific concensus, the doctors-behind-flccc's shady history, etc. But really I'm just happy you made it though mustie. I lost a family member to it, and it kicked my asthmatic ass.
I just was stuck in bed for a few nights / days and then fairly quickly my fever broke and i was up and walking around again. I didn't take anything or get any medical assistance but i am a bit younger (25). I had issues with lung capacity / vision for months after i recovered.
My brother, on the other hand, didn't even get any symptoms.

Just picked this exact model redmax out of a flooded area from this most recent storm in NY. Filled with water in every crevis. I'll tell ya what. she runs and operates real good, now. Not a bad little blower. Surprised she made the cut. Cleared the water out of it within a week of the flood though. Helped it didn't sit for too long. Been watching ya for a long time. Cheers to future adventures.

Watching your videos has given me the confidence to dive into repair projects that in the past I would have been afraid to tackle. The satisfaction derived from fixing things far outweighs the satisfaction of spending 5-10 times as much buying some shiny new gadget that probably won’t last half as long as what I repaired. Thank you!

    • @Hjerte_Verke

Watching a repair is 10x better {and easier} than cracking open a boring technical manual {that you had to buy $$ more than likely}, and reading up was necessary before this {free} information age. Fortunately, once you begin small engine repair you learn from experience that most everything is designed the same way and you are therefore "just like Mustie" at that point. I got two free 2-stroke machines {weedeater and leaf blower} going again after 10 minutes of UA-cam video viewing. Great stuff. 👍

So glad to hear you and your wife are on the mend. But, I have to add that your channel has been one huge refuge from the noise of the constant bombardment of newsfeeds, internet, and other sources out there today regarding COVID and politics. I've always appreciated your easy going manner, knowledge, abilities, and neutrality to enjoy with my morning cup of coffee (or two). "Fixing rusty junk" has become somewhat your mission statement. Please focus on the rusty junk and just get better, however you choose. All the best to you and your wife.
