I live in US, but had the opportunity of eating Pakistani mangoes in Medina during our Umraa visit to Saudi Arabia. The mangoes we tried were the Sindhri and Chausa. they were both excellent mangoes, especially the Sindhri, even after washing my hand with soap I can still smell the aroma of the mango from my hands. Amazing !!!

If you buy raw[kerry] mangoes and cover them with sweater so within 4/5 days you will get sweet mangos. I have tried this here in USA by putting/covering the Mexican mangoes under sweater[or blanket] and the result after 4/5 days converts them into edible /sweet mangoes. Nevertheless these are not so sweet/tasty vis a vis Pakistani mangoes .But they say ''something i better than nothing''. HA HA.

This land is Jageerdar land. Lot of lands have some people and others are landless.
How can Pakistan Progress?
No law is present in this province. In this area Single family have 4000+ acors land.
A train run for hours, land never b finished and this whole land have single family.

The name of mango ,"baiganpally ", is derived from a place in Kurnool district in South India called banaganpally , m surprised the same name is used in Pak , I love mangoes , I am from hyderabad Deccan ,india , and I heard the mangoes from Pakistan are the best , but haven't tasted them ,,,

I don't know why we can't think of mechanizing our farming. We are still relying on stone age farming style. Look, the way they were packing and the quality of wooden crates. It's mind blowing when you watch modern farming techniques and the equipment they use in western world. Our mangoes are no doubt number one in the world but our farmers our very poor to implement new techniques or maybe they don't want.

It's just for local market consumption... Low quality packaging factors in to keep the prices affordable to the masses, besides there should be a a reason why it is packed in wooden crates instead of cartons just like with apples in local markets ... Mangoes and other fruits which Pakistan exports have high quality packaging...
