I can imagine a world where they made Klee's ultimate was off field like Xingqiu and Yelan. If that was the case she'd still be relevant today.
Klee as main onfield DPS with Xingqui and Yelan and Nahida is a nonstop burgeon,vape, burn annihilate everything, especially with constellation 2 Klee where she does 20% defence reduction to all enemies with her jumpty dumpty mines.
You can’t build into vape and burgeon at the same time because one takes em and the other takes CV. This sounds like bleh burning team with some mid klee vapes in it. I’m sure it can clear but HB and real burgeon is way better.

After having all the characters that felt "meta", I came to a conclusion that I should pull for the character I really want, which makes the game much more fun to play. Even challenging characters can be fun, since Genshin is such a casual game! I'm planning to pull for Klee in my sub account, and if I get her, I feel like I'll play on that more than my main xD May all Klee wanters be Klee havers!
I agree on this. I just got her after skipping her every banner for “better” characters. Finally get to let her use her Dodoco Tales weapon!

Klee’s mother, Alice, is in fact a witch. The skin is a roleplay type of a skin, like fischl’s during golden apple archipelago. In the 3.8 event tomorrow, there will be an event, similar to a circus or a theatre. Klee is a part of it

Klee was one of my first five star characters as well, i still use her occasionally because i LIKE animation canceling, it makes the game feel a bit more,...challenging, but also more rewarding.
Basically IF:
1. You have 90 / 180 pulls to spare
2. You want to try a new mono-pyro or burgeon team comp
3. You are tired of just spamming E Q and want to try a challgenging character to play
4. YOU WANT TO CUTEST CHARACTER OF THIS GAME
then go ahead and pull for Klee

Klee is always a must pull. I have a constellation 4 Klee and she is a great main DPS, using Yelan, Nahida, Kuki and then Klee as the main DPS melt's everything and is really fast killing weekly bosses
This is a trash take no offense. Define must pull please because the team you listed sucks for klee and many other units would be better with less investment.
Klee’s overall damage and comfort value is mid at best and slapping on meta supports doesn’t make her even a sorta good pull, it just means you can do something else for less.
C4 is high Investment so of course she probably feels fine for you but what is she doing on that team besides creating the trash burning aura that reduces the amount of seeds Kuki can pick up. Additionally you have Mid vape damage compared to Hu Tao and no grouping or massive aoe like with xiangling. Klee is bleh in this team and you are kinda coping by suggesting your high investment team is good just because it can clear and look cool.
There are many better and cheaper alternatives to klee which makes her absolutely not a must pull. Just because a unit can work doesn’t make them good in comparison to others.

I have her, and her damage is amazing with burning, so you must not be using her right. Just say you hate klee and move on.
@@stephaniedennis5125 it’s not an opinion when klee sheets just don’t have those kinds of teams high at all. Can you still clear with it? Sure, but in no way does it elevate Klee’s meta placement.
I don’t hate her lol I just really don’t see a reason to use her (meta wise) outside of mono Pyro
I stopped playing mid-Sumeru, just didn't feel like continuing my v1.1 AR59 account with multiple C2+ 5* (endgame still crap, huh...), but I recently started a new one and I've been having so much fun with exploration and trying out different team comps without any OP chars! I was considering using my guaranteed pity on Klee, she's pretty fun to play or the totally new char Eula, but I think Fontaine has some great stuff to save up for.
Yea thats why I dont really pull for constellations for 5 stars (Kazuha is the only 5 star with cons on my account). The base 5 star is already good enough and it gives me more primogems to pull for more characters so I can experiment with more team comps. I am super excited for Fontaine the new characters and region look incredible as always.
Don't forget that Klee has the Monstadt Materials Utility Passive. If you don't have Mika, Klee is worth it just for that Passive, in my opinion. I think people sleep on Utility Passives when they assess a character's Pull Value, especially the Materials one. The Regional Material Utility Passives are SO useful when farming materials. I mean, the Sumeru Materials Utility Passive is the sole reason I pulled for Tighnari on his one and only limited banner. Since he was the first Sumeru character released, I knew that his Utility Passive would pay dividends because it would allow me to quickly and efficiently farm for Sumeru Mats for every new character coming up. And boy did hey pull his weight. Also, kinda fell in love with his combat style, but I got lucky with that, lol.
So many of the Tryhards, Meta Slaves, and Content Creators are so focused on damage and survivability that they, by and large, don't see the value in Utility Passives. But for your average player who is playing Genshin for fun and not for a Damage Showcase, the Utility Passive is one of the higher value things on a character, in my opinion. As a non-hardcore player myself, I don't really care how much damage I do as long as I do enough to clear the content. I'm not looking to 36 Star every Spiral Abyss. I'm more interested in the characters that will make me more efficient at building other characters. Double Crafting Results, Weapon Enhancement Cost Reduction, Putting Region Specific Materials on the Minimap, 25% Expedition Rewards Increase, those are the Passives I look for when I determine a character's value. And it makes me kinda sad that these Passives are, by and large, slept on because they don't make the Big Damage Showcase Number bigger.
I'll leave you all with a second example: Arataki Itto. I never liked the character. I felt his design was kinda wonky. I kinda hated that they made him nothing more than a joke so his character didn't appeal to me. I never really had a desire to pull for him. I ended up pulling him by accident because I wanted Gorou. The Wishing Gods were like, "Here's your early 5-Star and you win the 50-50. Congrats." I was like, "Great... I got Itto..." But I'm glad I got him because I didn't check his Passive. As it turns out, he's the ONLY character in the game (currently) that increases the amount of Wood you can chop from a tree. Also at that time, I hadn't really delved into the Serenitea Pot yet. But man once I started in on that rabbit hole, I was really glad I had Itto. He made Wood Gathering for the Serenitea Pot so efficient.
Is this character going to save me time? Is this character going to save me resources? That's what I tend to look at.
Also, Klee's Cute Factor can't be overlooked. One cannot deny that Klee has a near maximum Cute Value. And that's still Value. Right?
No joke tho, I have Klee on my main and i love her, she's one of my favorite characters in the account as well as nahida, and i use them together! I am not planning on pulling for Klee's C1 as i've been saving for kokomi for some time now, i finally got enough pulls to reach the 50/50 and see if i get her, it's not guaranteed tho. Even if i don't get kokomi i'll try and get some more pulls and keep trying, if i don't get her until 4.0 then i'll save all the primogems from fontaine exploration and pull for Childe, i've been wanting him since i first saw him in the Liyue story quest, and I played that really long ago

That person “pulling for a 4 star” was me on her first ever banner, I didn’t really know how gotchas worked at the time and how the banners worked, I just saw a 4 star I wanted and thought, I should just summon so I can have more common characters and then I got her….. played her for a month then never touched her character again

I pulled for Klee just because I wanted her, and only because she is the last small character I didn't have yet. I have no intention of actually building or using her though lol. I already have Yanfei build and I like using her way more.

Me: How I play Klee
(1) Klee throws Bomb. -> Ground Burns.
(2) Switch to Kazuha -> Spam Skill.
(3) The enemy not dying fast enough. Use Kazuha Burst switch to Klee. Use Burt, Switch to Kazuha, Spam Skill.
For Emergency: Switch to Ganyu, then use Burst. Then switch to Klee and repeat (1,2,3) While Bennet is benched.

I enjoy the meta and always pull for "optimal" characters because I'm f2p and I want to get my primos worth. I'm already doing a lot of damage so I'm probably gonna pull for Klee bc I love her character and more complicated playstyle. This guide really helped. Thank you!!

I never care about how well a character does but pull for what I want, cuz any character can be good.

Kazuha in mono pyro team: How do you do, fellow pyro?
Since you didn't bring it up, Klee's best set is the full 4 piece Crimson Witch set for all teams. Using skill into burst cancel still gives you a stack without costing you a skill charge. Getting the most out of this, since Klee's burst snapshots you want;
Skill > Skill cancel with Burst > Skill
This gives you max stacks of the Crimson Witch set quickly and, if you manage cooldowns properly, you can maintain these stacks for a while.
Playing this way also makes Kagura's Verity her BiS weapon since you will be doing this exact same thing to get max stacks on the Kagura's. The weapon's stack duration is long enough to where you can maintain max stacks of the weapon for almost 2 minutes with proper cooldown management.
Most fights won't last that long anyway, so stack drop off won't be an issue.
Also, you do not need to jump cancel her charge attack unless you need to reposition. You can cancel the charge attack with a normal attack then go right back into a charge attack.

I’ve been running klee with raiden so I can use Klee’s burst with Raiden’s skill.
Pull what you like, pull only after getting 180 pulls, that's two 5 stars every 3 months,
The only thing I hate about their system is characters like Eula become must pulls due to how rare they get reruned

Yea I have and it’s good. I am just not good enough to keep enemies grouped while using Klees charged attacks without the help of a grouper like sucrose or Kazuha. So using the double hydro is already 3 slots and I like taking a healer which means I wouldn’t be able to take a grouper. That’s why I don’t use the team very often. It feels very good against boss enemies that can’t get bounced around though.
I have her talents at 7 6 6 because I don't have any more of the drop I need from that weekly boss, and because I don't have enough artifacts, hers are underleveled, and I actually got lost prayer because I pulled it on the standard banner soon before I got her however my widsith is on Yae which is part of my main team and plus I like Yae too especially since I was clearly a Yae main now however I'm using my klee team alot however my klee team is currently so weak that the overworld is actually troublesome however I didn't pull klee because I wanted a powerful pyro unit because I already had Hu tao Yoimiya who I got on my first pull after failing to get Kazuha in the previous banner because I lacked the connection to log in and I have Diluc and the Raiden shogun I even had Kokomi Al haithem Itto Wanderer Ayaka and more 5 stars plus every 4 star so if I wanted to use a powerful character I already had a good selection with Klee actually being the 15th 5 star I pulled with Itto being the first but I also have energy problems in my Klee team and I'm using Yanfei for her shield but it breaks easily so I have problems there and I really like Yanfei due to previously being a Yanfei main and I'm actually wanting to start using her again so I may look for a video on how to build her well.
Can you play her with Nahida, Yelan and Barbara in a team?
Is it worth to pull for Klee if I have Yanfei already? How much of an improvement that is over Yanfei in XQ, Yelan,Zhongli team?
I wouldn’t say it’s really worth to pull for Klee at all unless you want her specifically. I’m pretty sure Yanfei and Klee do around the same damage so not really an upgrade.

Yea Venti works with Klee. He can’t suck up the mines that drop from her e with his burst but you can still hit enemies that are in ventis vortex with Klees charged attacks

Today I was looking at Klee's new outfit and at the premium currency I won in a giveaway a while ago, waiting for the right moment to use them... I didn't have Klee, but I always thought she was soooo adorable and I love Mondstadt so much. So... I choose to let the gods decide for me if I was destined to get her or not "I need Thoma cons anyways... And there's surely still plenty of time to save more primos for Zhongli! We'll have Fontaine to explore too, plenty of primos for sure".
I've gone sitting on Venti's statue with only my beloved Venti in the team (lol, redundant, but he's my favorite since forever) and I've done pulls until I got a 5 star... And after a lot of Mikas, two Razors, some useless weapon and one single Thoma (lil sad ab that but ok) this little and cute mage decided to come home! I got the outfit for her right away, lvl 50, and I've given her Diluc's arts to try her a little bit... She's SO ADORABLE I CAN'T EXPRESS THE CUTENESS.
My account would have been better if I kept saving for Zhongli? Maybe there aren't many doubts about that, but my heart is filled with happiness because this little bundle of joy destroyed some hilichurls and bad pyro flowers today! She's lovely, I'm happy, I'll probably use her to destroy abyss with a burgeon Nahida/Xingqiu/Baizhu team someday
Klee: Lavawalker Klee is old build.
It depends on how you intend to rotate her and rotate her own attacks.
Example: the meta gaming would be 4 piece Crimson or 2 Crimson + 2 Gladiator. Lavawalker was also a meta for a while, until they got replaced by the Crimson oonga boonga meta shit that is the taste of Genshin to this day (looking at you, Hutao!)
Instead, since Hutao and Xiang Ling exist, my favorite way to play Klee is to be an NA machine, since her NA throws smaller enemies off, and her CA also throws everybody off, but they're slow.
This kind of Klee is just spam NA and ult and basically she walks through everyone like in her pv.
Artifact set for NA Klee:
Echoes of an Offering or Shimenawa's Resistance. You just treat her like you do Yoimiya.
If it's Shimenawa, it means your ult is gonna be interrupted a bit. But farming Shimenawa is way easier and way more profitable.
Echoes of an Offering is a rather under-utilised set that was originally meant for Ayato, before Ayato himself stopped using that. So it's a rather forgotten artifact set, thanks to the shittiness of meta gaming.
It's an artifact set that turns most characters into an NA machine, given that they scale with attack and they can actually hit.
My current team if I'm using my burgeon Klee:
Klee
Kirara (she gives you the shield. Especially if you lucksack enough and have her at C3)
Kazuha/Sucrosse C6 (Sucrosse C6 is better for stat stacking bcs her EM, but yeah she needs to be C6 + Kazuha is just god)
The last one is anyone. You can either go Kokomi for healer + bloom, or another pyro dps and turns Klee as a battery, or Xingqiu (or the sexier Xingqiu) like this video shows.
In the past this was Zhong Li, and Zhong Li is still the superior option for non burgeon teams.
The original set building for this kind of team is Noelle, as Noelle('s shield) is THICC + she provides 2nd dps role.
I only got Layla recently, so haven't build her. Maybe, one day, if I have enough resources.
Same as Thoma, except maybe I'll never have the resource to build him.
ps.: You don't even need animation canceling. Just throw the damn bomb like you're throwing grenade.
I lost 5050 on klee last time to c1 diluc and this time to c1 keqing, both at hard pity....the pain is unbearable but i will keep pulling...please give me klee early aaaa

Short answer is no, she’s actually pretty bad despite being so cute.
Long answer is still no unless you really like mono Pyro. Pretty good ER solution for xiangling though that’s nice. You can clear with anyone in this game of course but Klee certainly isn’t the easiest or cheapest option.

I started playing genshin on her first rerun and she was my first 5*. She carried me untill i got Ayaka in Inazuma (i did 1 pull because i hated being at 44 pity and wanted to be at 45 and got her xD)
and even then i continued to use her till 2.2 when i got hutao. She carried me from AR20 to AR54~, i pulled her cuz i liked her and at the time the abyss had a lot of cryo slimes xD
I feel like i used her so much that even now that i have a lot of 5stars, she feels less clunky to use than the kazuha which i got 1 month ago.
The teams i have fun with are Mono Pyro but w/o xiangling most of the time (using rosaria or albedo), burgeon with nahida/zhongli since her auto attacks explosion have a lot more radius than it seems, the seeds are easy to hit, and overload.
She has a lot of knockback so she is best used vs heavy and large enemys that don't get knoked back a lot or at all, this means she is not worth the hassle with inazuma nobushi (small samurai) or wopperflowers but worth vs the classic group of 2 or 5 ruin machines and bosses.
As a thanks for carrying me till my mid-late game I think im gonna take her skin, not because i like it that much, her hat is nice but the bottom dress sucks (give her something else than the fucking grandma pants everyone has, they are too visible and bother me a bit, why would i wanna look at the dress if all i see is that grandma pants, cover it!, i see them even if i look from above the head to see the hat).
Even tho she is not Ayaka or Kazuha pull value you described her perfectly at the end of the video, pressing Q with xiangling and playing Klee is a different type of experience, if you like her, pull her, having fun with a character you like is the right way, and i assure you that you don't have to be scared to pull her because of power, even unbuffed she is pretty good.
Enjoyed the video even tho i wrote a papyr... I will check your other videos and subscribe, you seem a pretty smooth talker even if you don't have a lot of videos, keep it up.

Genshin has given me like no Pyro characters besides the 2 free ones. Do yo know which Pyro char they did give me?? Xinyan. The fire sign in me is dying all I want to do is burn things and that's... All I have.

Yea for sure You can go 4 piece crimson witch of flames. The overall clear speed for abyss runs just doesn’t seem to be different when I use a 4 pc or a 2pc/2pc. If you already have a cracked 4 pc crimson set though then you can definitely run it especially if you are using reactions

Thanks for the review I skipped the last few banners for C1 Eula and C2 Klee (with some spending plus already got her) I always go for fun characters when possible cause meta build is pointless in game where Lisa can solo EI with enough practice and great arts.

Go for the characters you want for I’ve been there I’ve wanted xiao in 3.4 but got Qiqi but she maged to stay with me all the way and if you don’t want the character even know it’s meta for a example I don’t use Bennett since I am not interested in him only used him for floor six and it was kinda of slow healing for me in my opinion so just go for the characters you really want and you will find a way to make them meta
