- It's official - Cedric McMillan is the winner of the 2017 Arnold Classic. After much struggle and strife he has finally landed the first place win at the Arnold Classic. Next goal? Taking down the Mr. Olympia.
But before moving into September, Flex Wheeler, Kai Greene, and Trish Warren had a chance to sit down with Cedric just moments after his big win to hear in depth about Cedric's journey and how he was able to fight anxiety to push past good genetics and actually showcase the amount of hard work and dedication he puts into his training every single day. Humble, confident, intelligent, well-spoken, emotionally open, frank, grateful, and physically has it. Olympia next. He would be an ideal Mr. Olympia. Phil Health should be worried.
He's actually my new favorite. I think a true bodybuilder is not all the physique, it's personality, charisma and mentality as well. And he's got it! GO GO Cedric!

McMillan is too big to be 'Golden Era'. Mike O'Hearn may be smaller, but he is way more aesthetic than him and thus better represents Golden Era ideals than Cedric. I know many people who want to look O'Tren but not as many people who want to look as freakish as McMillan.

The more and more I watch these guys ... you gotta admit Arnold was a phenom! And I'm not talking just about his body building show days but go back and watch movies like Conan and predator... Arnold was hard as fuck in those movies it just shows the work he had to put in day in and day out to maintain that physical appearance through months of those shootings
I sincerely hope and pray that the judges at the Olympia take note to this individual.. He's got every attribute of a Mr Olympia, both personality and physique.. the IFBB needs more money?? shit look at how people are jumping on Ced's bandwagon and bringing more attention to the sport/art and the IFBB ... Ced's amazing, he's got a great package and he can definitely compete with pretty much all the bodybuilders of today's era but this level of conditioning won't bring him a mr olympia trophy. I'm not trying to take ANYTHING away from him, dude's amazing and I'm a fan but this line up didn't test Cedric to the limit nor did he test it.
