We don’t want revenge. We want anyone who broke the law to face justice. Arresting your political opponents is the beginning of the end for any country. This has to stop immediately.
Felonies are irrelevant and anybody can be given a felony for anything under the sun depending on the arresting officers mood. I personally know a guy here in northwestern Douglas County Wisconsin ( superior Wisconsin ) that was leaving my graduation party in 1997 with a bunch of our friends. the cops ( Gary gothner, George gothner, Todd Carlson, and Brad esler ) stopped these guys just across the train tracks knowing full well that we were a bunch of 16 and 17 year old kids sitting around a fire having a couple of brewskies with our high school sweet heats playing our guitars, having a few tokes. The cops asked them for their I'ds and told them they are under arrest for underage drinking. This specific guy booked it on foot ( escaping arrest ) through the woods and managed to swim across the river. The cops showed up at his parents house something like a month or two later and charged him with a felony escape and the state of Wisconsin waived him into adult court and this specific guy did five years of hard time at 17 due to the felony escape charge ( escape risk ) and pulled maximum discharge just so he wouldn't have to deal with parole when he came home. 95% of convicted felons are non violent felons as described above and this type of stuff is happening across the country on a daily basis.
