@gslichttechniek2 I've never had the chance to use any of the MA ranges. But I'm racking my brains as to how I would program the effect at 0:36 on a Chamsys console. If I ever figure it out I may have to borrow the idea :) Not having a console in front of me I don't have the chance to think it through properly, hmmm maybe tomorrow...

Timecoded? Really like the effect you created with the led movers at the back at 0:36 and 1:16. Mac 101s?

@tomthelampy I don't know chamsys that well, but I'm quite sure its possible with chamsys. For the MA its: pan effect divided in 4 groups and dim effect also divided in 4 groups. Both same speed and make the dim effect quite narrow. Play a little with the size and starting point.

Hey! Been trying to do that effect for a while now and not having much luck; but I'm so close. I've set the effect rate for both dim and pan at .5 and 4 groups. I'm trying the swing waveform on both as well. Not quite seeing the same effect. I'm on MA by the way. Any thoughts?

@gslichttechniek2 That was my thoughts. I just haven't combined those two effects with any real success. Maybe perseverance is key. Mind you last time i gave it a go I was in a major rush. Next gig should be more laid back :) Have you tried the Robe LED 300s?

@tomthelampy I guess this effect combines a dimmer effect and pan effect, but IIRC chamsys do not have as advanced effect options as GrandMA2. I tried GrandMA2 ON PC and its interestning thing, i tried chamsys on PC and its not as nice... I tried effects on GrandMA 2 PC and it offers a lot of customization, you can specify many values.

+dimas wicaksono There are several ways to do this, I do not know how they did it but the way I prefer to do this is to use a cosinus on the pan and on the tilt, then it is just a matter of messing around with the phase and you have to decrease the width on the tilt so that you get a "flat line" at the
bottom in stead of a full circle. of course you have to adjust the low and high values for both the pan and the tilt.
If you also want the dimmer effect, just add a dimmer to the effect and use for example a sine form and again play with the phase and width.
and for the color you just add a color effect to the effect and mess around with the form, low, high, phase and width for both a colorwheel and any kind of colormix.
for all the effect lines i recommened using a speed fader in stead of the speed in the effects themselves. this way you get more control over your effects when improvising.
      hope to have helped you
