All I keep asking myself is how did you get into this work and how did you learn how to do all of this??? It's so much work, you have to know and be able to do all sorts of things, and your craftsmanship is amazing!
Omg when i saw you making the witch flying brush (4:58), i immediately knew where you got inspired from!! It's from a costume from the game Black Desert Online! Do you play BDO? :O
This is probably gonna come off as a weird question, but I must ask! I get my nails done every month, but I can never seem to get a nail tech that does mine as sleek and beautiful as yours-they're always so thick and chunky! I've been playing around with the idea of doing them myself, but I don't know where to start. Do you do yours yourself at home? If so, are there any specific products you use to achieve their look? I love getting french fades, and more natural looking nails like yours, but no one ever seems to get them right. Anyway, thank you, and keep up the great work! I always look forward to your videos more than anyone else. You truly are a master at what you do!
100% Pure Acetone will do the trick for most commercial dolls, BUT NOT THAT ONE! See Maria's comment below! :O Also, go check out the video she did for the process on that doll. It's FANTASTIC!
@Siren Thank you! 💖 Don't use acetone on Cici, her head is hard plastic and will melt/shrink! When I tested with acetone I had to run to wash it off. I switched directly to non-acetone remover. It is slow but it won't instantly melt the plastic on Cici, you have time to wash in between. 🙂
@@MariaLazarsArt OMG that would scare the pants off me (if llamas wore pants) !!! I'm so glad you replied, as I would have made the same mistake! I didn't realise she wasn't vinyl, and I'm thinking about picking one up! Edited my previous post! Thank you!
Honestly nothing really replaces MSC or testors dullcote with getting the grit to use pencil on. I've tried so many things but very thin sharpies and acrylic paint give you the opacity so you can just use clear spray sealant
I have a lot of trouble getting MSC where I live, and when I do find it, the price is far beyond my budget. I tested several sealants, but most of them were absolutely terrible on vinyl. I have finally landed on Liquitex Matte Spray. It's relatively easy to find, and usually fairly priced. Most importantly, it works on vinyl dolls. Doll vinyl is a weird plastic blend, so lots of sealants hate sticking to it. Keep in mind, weather factors in quite heavily to any sealant's ability to dry. I live in a very rainy place, so sealing takes patience, no matter what brand I use. Just keep the layers thin, and make sure you give them enough time to dry completely before you add another. :D
I've got 2 questions that I want to ask to you if you don't mind. 1. I got Liqutix Matte Varnish but I don't have an Airbrush or the stuff you mentioned (due to tight on Cash) , how do you repaint dolls face and change body color without an airbrush? 2. Have you ever thought of or thinking about doing a Doll Design contest (Like TheDollFairy's KH doll design contest) in the future and the winner gets a doll customization by you with the design they made? P.S. Love the dolls you made and had you do it's super adorably cute. 🙂
Any varnish in a bottle has to be used with an airbrush. If you don’t have one then you have to buy varnish in an aerosol can, such as Mister Super Clear (MSC).
Your dolls are so beautiful and your attention to detail is astonishing! I look forward to seeing your next doll
Thank you so much! 💖
These questions and answers was so helpful to me with my first doll I'm busy on, can't wait to see more content from you 😊

I have a question . Do you take commissions ?
I wanna know too, I love her art!
She said she can't financially sell dolls right now. I think that includes commissions.

Thank you so much for answering my question.

You could try the Après gel nail kits, they’re real gel and it’s DIY. They’re great, last 2-3 weeks and they’re refillable.

Hmm, most of the recommended sealants are either banned or unavailable in my country, would a artist matte sealant work similarly?

How many coats do you use the liquitex sealants to start your doll?
