- I created a fabric collage with a silhouette for the #4core March challenge.

Please play along in the April Challenge,
with 4 core elements.
1. Theme: Maritime
2. choose between a 2 OR 3 dimensional project
use sturdy substrate and any mediums you like
3. include at least 2 theme related textured pieces
4. add at least 1 transparent or translucent piece

Beautiful piece Ina! I never would have thought of using fabric (you have a great selection), it must give gorgeous textures. Wonderful colors, and you've made it sturdy for life. Great job, thanks Ina! 👍
Thank you so much Mieke. I have done a few fabric collages and I always enjoy it. I get bits of fabric from a local 2nd hand artist supply shops and I choose the bright colors with small pattern designs. I am so pleased to have you on board with the challenges. : )

I like your use of fabric in your 4-core design. It helps to open up options for me.
April's 4-core challenge will be fun. I love under water scenes. Now to limit it all down to one project...I have so many ideas.

Maritime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeahhhhhhh. Ok, back to this month challenge, Ina, your piece is (as usual) beautiful, different and so creative.

Your project for March is again very fascinating. I think it's particularly great that you have managed to create a landscape from the remnants of fabric. The new

I always love your pieces, but when you do these kinds of pieces, they are my favorites. You always achieve the most beautiful bacckgrounds, and you are so creative with adding texture and whatnot. ❤

As usual, your piece is fab, and all the pieces submitted were a great lineup. I am behind on my viewing as life has conspired to keep me away from my art room for nearly 7 weeks. 😕

Welcome Magda.So glad you like this collage....and no I did not varnish the fabric...it it fairly saturated with glue and should not fade for a long time.Thanks so much for watching. :)
