I have played many games in the series but.I have not played this one yet just from listening to the song I cannot wait to be diving in to lacrimosa of Donna on my Nintendo switch this game judging from the song Alone sounds like it is going to be another epic ys masterpiece
To this day, Dana is still one of the strongest female leads I've ever encountered in my gaming years--probably tied with Virginia Maxwell from Wild Arms 3 for my favorite. I guess technically she's the game's deuteragonist, but the way she was written and developed over the course of Ys VIII (right up through the true ending), she was basically a second lead protag alongside Adol. This theme really spoke to just how strong a character she was--and it plays at probably the best possible moment in the story.
