  • We regret that we will be unable to continue our trip as planned. We will not be continuing on to Montana on this trip, mostly for reasons beyond our control, but also because we found an area in Oregon that we absolutely love and want to spend some more time there exploring the trails, waterfalls, rivers & forests. Oh yea, and the jeep trails!!

It is always fun to get snip-its of the Native American food, culture, and life-style that you put in your videos. It is a culture that is not prevalent the further East in the U.S. that you go, so it is very interesting to those of us who do not see it.

Hi Paddy! Got a surprise for ya. We sat here watching TV a few days ago after a hike & found a place to go that was not on our list, heading out today! Remember when we were kids and our heros really wore capes and could really fly? (think Evil Knievel!!) I remember as a kid being glued to the TV & watched every second of the Snake River attempt, & now Ima gonna go see it!!

We're trying to keep the windshield as clean as we can, and I know that low rattle at the front right of the RV must be irritating everyone as much as it does me by now, gotta get that fixed soon. Thanks for watching!

Next time you are in the Columbia river gorge, if you take Hwy 97 north at I-84 exit 104 goto the top of the hill and turn on to east Hwy 14 and go a couple of miles and on the right is a replica of the Stonehenge. It's on the Washington side of the river over looking the river and is beautiful up there.

I will be brave, and ask the question that others are thinking; this is the second video that we have seen the hand written sign taped to the window of the coach door, may we ask what it says? :)

Hi, it says "Guard dog on duty. In case of emergency please call xxx-xxx-xxxx or xxxx". Soon as we can we will have a real sign made for the door that says the same. As Gator matured into a 4 year old (he is 6 now) he started to become very protective of me, and out of his head protective over Maria, but he is only this way when he is inside. Outside he is pretty much the same ol'Gator, the happy hunter, but inside the house or the RV something clicks in his head & he goes into protect mode. Thanks for watching!

Beautiful scenery. You mentioned that you get pretty good fuel mileage. What are you averaging? I have a gas Winnebago Vista 27N and get about 7 (6-7mpg).

Hi Les, Believe it or not when pulling the same load Jabba averages 9 MPG on the nose whereas our 2004 Sightseer 35N (Boone) averaged 7.5 MPG. Of course when you consider that diesel costs more and the additional cost of DEF, I think that cost wise it's pretty much a wash... but I do like the range we get with the diesel. The tank is 90 gallons at 9 MPG.
