My favorite part of the video for "For You" is that for JK, "you" is the girl. For the boys, the "you" is JK. It's all about love in all its shapes, sizes and colors. And "Lights" is definitely love for ARMY and for each other. I think a lot of the time, BTS is singing to BTS, too. The bond between those seven is just astonishingly deep and genuine, just like their bond with ARMY. It's a wonderful Boraworld where we all live. :) And you said they broke you into pieces... but those are happy pieces, right?
BTW Jungkook was selected from the beginning to be centre and lead vocal. He has the most stable voice singing and dancing live. When they debuted he couldn’t believe the responsibility put upon him, but big hit had faith in him. As RM once said….there is no replacement for JK,without him there is a lot of damage. YES!! "Don't Leave Me" is one of their best songs. For a while there, Jimin's part was all over the internet. It was being used in crack videos, compilation videos, creator's were using it as their opening. It is one of my absolute favorite BTS songs and I find it kind of weird that it doesn't really get talked about much considering how much it blew up.
It's not because he knows japanese...j jungkook is the center of the group and the main vocalist as well.. that's why he gets a lot of parts in all BTS songs... That's his position (He's an all rounder... He can sing, rap, dance and he's a visual too )
"Yet To Come" from Busan was released recently. And it's really a dance practice. You actually get to see them working on "RunBTS" and "Mic Drop" for the Busan concert. Plus there is more Behind the Scenes of the whole concert. You get to see them relaxed, enjoying the rehearsal, fine tuning for the concert, and their feelings after the concert. This is really a dance practice. We usually see a finished polished rehearsal that is perfect right before the actual performance. It's emotional because it's their last time they are together til 2025. You can feel that emotion. But remember they hadn't divulged any secrets about what they were doing next. It's really good!
In The For You MV, JK was saving money so he can see her "lady love". But mrmbers read the letter and they all worked hard to surpirse JK and bought him a plane ticket so he can see her. The amount of hardwork they put into to make their littoe brother happy. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

For You is one of my favourite BTS music videos! It's just so wholesome and I could definitely imagine all of them doing this for each other in real life. Especially during their earlier years when they wouldn't have had much money, It really captures the sentiment of their relationship as 'more than just bandmates' which we all love about them.
Don't forget to include BTS' dance practices! You can do a couple of them at a time. All of them are great to watch and enjoy seeing their talent and skills. But honestly, anything BTS will do for me!
For your question about Jungkook, it not because he’s better at Japanese. It’s because Jungkook is the center and Main Vocalist of the group. In the kpop world, artists within groups have specific roles and almost like ranks depending on your role. Jungkook, being the Center, is almost always in the center of their dance formations. Being the main vocalist, he’s bound to have more lines and more parts in songs. Jungkook is also one of the more stable performers when on stage. One time he was jumping around for their song “Run” and his voice was stable as ever. He plays such an important part of the group, and has many parts. Another example of this would be with Jimin and Jhope. They are both the main dancers of the group, so they will most likely receive dance breaks and dance solo performances. RM is the Main Rapper, so he’ll more than likely get parts to showcase his rapping on stage (like at MMA 2019 where he got to do his solo Persona) Also their Japanese songs are almost always ballads of some kind. Another beloved Japanese song is “Your Eyes Tell” plus many others lol Lights is always my go-to feel good Japanese song from them. It’s so sweet. And For You is kind of like a hidden gem. Honestly, you wouldn’t even know about it unless you went through all of BTS’s album and their discography and found it. It’s kind of hidden so I’m not surprised a lot of people often look over it, but I’m glad you saw it!
To answer your question about Jungkook, it’s not just a Japanese tt/song thing (although he does speak Japanese quite well). He’s their overall official center and the main vocalist of the group, meaning he gets the front center parts the most in choreos, mv’s etc and also gets the most vocal parts in (most, if not almost all of)their songs. Obviously for a reason, because he’s just incredibly well rounded as an idol. Namjoon has even said before that if JK isn’t there, it would be hard (if not impossible) to fill his spot because he has so many (important) parts in their songs.
I’ve always connected “Lights” to Boy With Love despite it being a Japanese song. In BWL, The guys dance outside the Persona movie theatre, and in this mv, they are inside watching a film together. “Lights” is in the same era as well. It really is a beautiful song.

Your assessment about Lights not just being a song for Army but also a song for each of the members rings so true. I feel like a lot of BTS songs has a universality in that you can't say they are just romantic songs. They can be songs for Army, for a friend, family member, etc., but the message is all about lifting each other up. That's certainly why I was drawn to their music. I love their Japanese songs and I especially love For You. I would love you to react to some of their dance practices. As to which ones, that's tough! On, Black Swan, I Need U and Mic Drop are some of my favorites.
Dance Recommendations! I still want to see you react to more dance practices! Their choreo is insane and so much of their stuff is fast, high energy, and hard. And they do it live and they sing live at the same time. Beyond insane. Their performances are incredible but you just don't see the details of the choreo in them with all the lights and audience shots and headshots (grr cameramen - we need to see their FOOTWORK!!!) Hobi and Jimin are recognised by dancers of every genre for a reason! There are a million things I could mention as a dancer but suffice to say - they are clean and their transitions are mwah and they are so in sync and the genres (so many completely different styles and muscle memory) in every song - I'm tired just watching! Watch some other dance videos (best of or compilations are a good idea too for showing their incredible range. Absolutely essential watching!! And don't forget individual song practices or general dance practice vids - esp for Jhope (check ''Hope on the street'' stuff -Hobi's isolation and popping in particular are evident in these. His strength and precision too) and Jimin (his glorious contemporary dance background, artistry, and martial arts!) Finally, it's also worth a mention that Jimin has done some pieces with Jungkook (inc a dance to MJ's 'Black or White') and the three of them (3J) have done some pieces together. All worth watching!
Personally, and its just my thought, but I remember that one of your first reactions was "Magic Shop." And honestly I know you loved that song than, but I feel like it would be amazing to rewatch that reaction now. Because you now have that deeper connection, and watching or hearing the songs, the ones especially for Army, when you have that deeper connection.... it's a whole new experience. Luke, this song and video is one that is in heavy rotation on my playlists! I love this song, I love the video, I love the behind the scenes of the video and it's a song that I suggest to others often. It's one of their first songs that I learned the lyrics in Korean so that I could sing along with them. (I am not at all a good singer, nor am I flawless with Korean lyrics, but I can rock out in my car with them and that's all that matters to me. LOL) So I couldn't wait to see your reaction to one of my fave BTS songs. I love For You as well, this video is too cute and the choreography is amazing. I like to watch them perform this on stage because it literally looks like Jimin is floating or ice skating across the stage. So the performance that I love to see them do is a song called Let Go. It's beautiful and the song is very sentimental. I began my BTS journey with Dynamite, so I'm a relatively new Army. The rehearsal video that made me fall in love with the one and only Park Jimin is the very first Dynamite rehearsal. LOL But the Butter rehearsal video is really good as well, you get to see portions of the choreography that you don't always get to see when you're looking at a stage performance or an MV because the camara angles aren't always focused on the entire group, so the rehearsal is where you get to see all the finer points of the choreography. The On rehearsal is amazing as well. They practice with a college band and it's really good. 💙💙This is a good video of them performing Let Go and it has English Subtitles. From what I remember, this song was speaking to a time when the band was on the verge of breaking up. Luke, I can not describe the joy I get from watching you react to BTS - It fills my heart! I had not watched the For You video in a while, but it all came back to me once you were reacting to it. So cute that all the members worked extra jobs so that they could buy JK a ticket to see his sweetheart. The song is amazing as well - the vocals are crystal clear. Lights is also a wonderful song and video. I have seen BTS live in concert once, and I hope to see them again down the road. My wish for you Luke is that you also get to experience a BTS concert - it will change your life. As far as dance practices go, I can't remember which ones you have seen and which ones you haven't. I favorite of mine is the Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) Full version dance practice. Blood Sweat & Tears dance practice is also very good - love to hear the heavy breathing at the end - the boys work hard! Their synchronization is impeccable - all the jumps are together and the same height and everything - so good! Boy in Luv dance practice is also very good. For You is one of my favourite BTS music videos! It's just so wholesome and I could definitely imagine all of them doing this for each other in real life. Especially during their earlier years when they wouldn't have had much money, It really captures the sentiment of their relationship as 'more than just bandmates' which we all love about them.
Don't forget to include BTS' dance practices! You can do a couple of them at a time. All of them are great to watch and enjoy seeing their talent and skills. But honestly, anything BTS will do for me!
BTS's Japanese songs are a treat honestly!
For your question about Jungkook, it not because he’s better at Japanese. It’s because Jungkook is the center and Main Vocalist of the group. In the kpop world, artists within groups have specific roles and almost like ranks depending on your role. Jungkook, being the Center, is almost always in the center of their dance formations. Being the main vocalist, he’s bound to have more lines and more parts in songs. Jungkook is also one of the more stable performers when on stage. One time he was jumping around for their song “Run” and his voice was stable as ever. He plays such an important part of the group, and has many parts.
Another example of this would be with Jimin and Jhope. They are both the main dancers of the group, so they will most likely receive dance breaks and dance solo performances. RM is the Main Rapper, so he’ll more than likely get parts to showcase his rapping on stage (like at MMA 2019 where he got to do his solo Persona)
Also their Japanese songs are almost always ballads of some kind. Another beloved Japanese song is “Your Eyes Tell” plus many others lol
Lights is always my go-to feel good Japanese song from them. It’s so sweet. And For You is kind of like a hidden gem. Honestly, you wouldn’t even know about it unless you went through all of BTS’s album and their discography and found it. It’s kind of hidden so I’m not surprised a lot of people often look over it, but I’m glad you saw it!
To answer your question about Jungkook, it’s not just a Japanese tt/song thing (although he does speak Japanese quite well). He’s their overall official center and the main vocalist of the group, meaning he gets the front center parts the most in choreos, mv’s etc and also gets the most vocal parts in (most, if not almost all of)their songs. Obviously for a reason, because he’s just incredibly well rounded as an idol. Namjoon has even said before that if JK isn’t there, it would be hard (if not impossible) to fill his spot because he has so many (important) parts in their songs.
I’ve always connected “Lights” to Boy With Love despite it being a Japanese song. In BWL, The guys dance outside the Persona movie theatre, and in this mv, they are inside watching a film together. “Lights” is in the same era as well. It really is a beautiful song.

Your assessment about Lights not just being a song for Army but also a song for each of the members rings so true. I feel like a lot of BTS songs has a universality in that you can't say they are just romantic songs. They can be songs for Army, for a friend, family member, etc., but the message is all about lifting each other up. That's certainly why I was drawn to their music. I love their Japanese songs and I especially love For You. I would love you to react to some of their dance practices. As to which ones, that's tough! On, Black Swan, I Need U and Mic Drop are some of my favorites.

I still want to see you react to more dance practices! Their choreo is insane and so much of their stuff is fast, high energy, and hard. And they do it live and they sing live at the same time. Beyond insane.
Their performances are incredible but you just don't see the details of the choreo in them with all the lights and audience shots and headshots (grr cameramen - we need to see their FOOTWORK!!!)
Hobi and Jimin are recognised by dancers of every genre for a reason!
There are a million things I could mention as a dancer but suffice to say - they are clean and their transitions are mwah and they are so in sync and the genres (so many completely different styles and muscle memory) in every song - I'm tired just watching!
Watch some other dance videos (best of or compilations are a good idea too for showing their incredible range. Absolutely essential watching!!

His strength and precision too) and Jimin (his glorious contemporary dance background, artistry, and martial arts!) Finally, it's also worth a mention that Jimin has done some pieces with Jungkook (inc a dance to MJ's 'Black or White') and the three of them (3J) have done some pieces together. All worth watching!

Luke, this song and video is one that is in heavy rotation on my playlists! I love this song, I love the video, I love the behind the scenes of the video and it's a song that I suggest to others often. It's one of their first songs that I learned the lyrics in Korean so that I could sing along with them. (I am not at all a good singer, nor am I flawless with Korean lyrics, but I can rock out in my car with them and that's all that matters to me. LOL) So I couldn't wait to see your reaction to one of my fave BTS songs. I love For You as well, this video is too cute and the choreography is amazing. I like to watch them perform this on stage because it literally looks like Jimin is floating or ice skating across the stage. So the performance that I love to see them do is a song called Let Go. It's beautiful and the song is very sentimental. I began my BTS journey with Dynamite, so I'm a relatively new Army. The rehearsal video that made me fall in love with the one and only Park Jimin is the very first Dynamite rehearsal. LOL But the Butter rehearsal video is really good as well, you get to see portions of the choreography that you don't always get to see when you're looking at a stage performance or an MV because the camara angles aren't always focused on the entire group, so the rehearsal is where you get to see all the finer points of the choreography. The On rehearsal is amazing as well. They practice with a college band and it's really good.

Luke, I can not describe the joy I get from watching you react to BTS - It fills my heart! I had not watched the For You video in a while, but it all came back to me once you were reacting to it. So cute that all the members worked extra jobs so that they could buy JK a ticket to see his sweetheart. The song is amazing as well - the vocals are crystal clear. Lights is also a wonderful song and video. I have seen BTS live in concert once, and I hope to see them again down the road. My wish for you Luke is that you also get to experience a BTS concert - it will change your life. As far as dance practices go, I can't remember which ones you have seen and which ones you haven't. I favorite of mine is the Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) Full version dance practice. Blood Sweat & Tears dance practice is also very good - love to hear the heavy breathing at the end - the boys work hard! Their synchronization is impeccable - all the jumps are together and the same height and everything - so good! Boy in Luv dance practice is also very good.
