When its to butchering animals in this game and i think real life? Anyway, its all about prep work cuz that meat is gonna go off in a day.
you need like 5 smoking racks at least. The reason you need smoking racks is cuz they can smoke the meat without you doing a craft.
Which means you can do other stuff. Also when building the smoking racks put them outdoors, and like 10 tiles away from each other.
Cuz as the name suggests, they produce a lot of smoke. Plus make as much charcoal as you can cuz they run on it. That's my walkthough on smoking meat. Thank you for making these videos Slashem. Sorry for complaining so much :P

You can always smash a safe open. I usually craft a homewrecker specifically to smash safes and doors

NPC AI is pretty brain dead. I think birdie threw the trench mace at the zombie!
